Ever since the other Labcorp that I used to visit closed, I changed to this location, which has been a pleasant experience. The staff are very professional and efficient. Also, they are very thoughtful and patient whenever they ask for the arm choice of the blood samples and hand out the urine sample container. The waiting room and the lab room is spotless and sanitized every time the patient leaves. What I love about this place most is that it is not crowded compare to any Labcorp and it feels like it's more organized. Even though it is further than my previous Labcorp from my home, I would pick here anytime.

Pros: 1. Easy in and out for routine lab-work if you know where to go. Con: 1. Smaller location, its tucked in so can get little tricky to find, can get busy as the day progresses. 2. Staff could be friendlier but I understand rhat due to staffing shortages they are being asked to work more. Tip: 1. Check their hours before you go, due to staffing shortages they sometimes move staff to other locations and close this location. 2. Check in the ipad as soon as you get in. They ask you to wait outside if more than 3 peep in the lobby but make sure to check in first. I have seen lots of people unaware they need to checkin on the ipad so they keep on waiting outside. 3. Its located on the first floor, some people gets confused with Quest diagnosis which is also located in the same complex, be sure to look for the suite number and lab name. 4. They open early so make apointment or walk in very early in the morning to avoid crowd.

Never had I ever had blood drawn and then have the needle pulled out and scrape my arm before, and actually start to bleed a little. I asked her what scraped my arm and she said she had to pull the needle out at an angle so it didn't hutrt but it must of hit my arm ‍

It's a million times neater and cleaner than the location in Placentia and the phlebotomist was top rate.

SHOUT OUT TO CHRISTINA- the QUASI-MANAGER at the Anaheim Hills Quest location, who was RUDE and MEAN to my son and to me. She made sure to butt in, while my son was having his blood drawn by another phlebotomist, to berate us both. The anxiety a person with autism and JRA experiences on a daily basis, let alone a day where they have to get bloodwork done, is indescribable. Being a caregiver and parent, watching my son suffer DAILY with physical pain from his juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and mentally with autism, and severe OCD, and THEN add on this lady giving my son and me a LECTURE about bringing in too many lab orders, and how it's our fault that people like us bring in too many orders, and that's why they get behind. I HAD ZERO IDEA I was only allowed to bring my son in for 3 lab orders at each visit. He has to have labs done every 3 months. Would ANYONE who is sane choose to piss off someone who is in charge of sticking their son with a needle?? The answer is a HARD NO!!! NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN. EVER. There was one extremely patient and kind phlebotomist there who was the person who actually drew my son's blood. Her name was Arlene and she deserves a 100% raise. She was so patient with my son. And kind. If I were her, I would leave Quest and go to another lab that has BETTER MANAGEMENT.

I arrived at 7:45 AM. I tried to schedule an appointment the night before on the app was told none were available. While sitting here waiting, I checked the LabCorp app again and suddenly there were 9 appointment slots available. That makes no sense. Why weren't those appointments available the night before? To make matters worse, several non-English-speaking patients arrived and clearly did not understand how to use the self check-in kiosk. No staff member offered to assist them. They were left standing there confused, which only added to the chaos and delays. This location is poorly managed, inefficient, and a complete waste of time. I will never return. I finally made it in to get my blood drawn. Veronica helped me and she was very nice. That was the only pleasant experience I had at this place. I truly miss Quest Diagnostics.

Unfortunately, what they lack ends up a longer list. The first MA was unable to get a vial of blood and said someone else would try on my other arm with a straight needed (vs butterfly). She left me without even putting a bandaid on the arm she poked and I had to struggle to put the bandaid on one handed while still maintaining pressure on it. Next MA comes and draws blood and when she's done she yelps I don't have a cotton ball (to put on the vein she just drew out of) and my blood is just pooling while she puts a bandaid on. Luckily I'm well versed enough to know I needed to put pressure on my bandaid. The NP who saw me was new to (per the MA) she really didn't put my mind at ease. Her expertise and knowledge seemed lacking based on the answers to my questions. First thing she asked me was, why are you here and not the ER? I told her my PCP sent me here because she didn't feel it necessitated a ER visit. She wanted me to be evaluated by YOU to assess and in your medical opinion, do I need to be seen further or what course of action next? She swabbed me for flu and covid and I verbally questioned her because I had isolated severe GI symptoms. She said sometimes those present wither GI only. Does it? I don't know, I'm not an MD but I'm also someone who works in healthcare and it didn't feel like the proper procedure. When I asked if she would be ordering any stool samples, I heard through my closed door "do we do that?". Ok, she's new, I'll give her that...but she comes back in and says "if you'd like to have the order for stool testing I'm happy to give that to you." Am I the md or am I the patient? I came here for your professional medical opinion! Do I?! So after I kindly communicated that I am looking to her for her opinion as the expert whether or not my symptoms necessitate an order, she still doesn't quite give me a direct answer! I haven't been to that many urgent cares, but I've come to see a trend that many of the urgent cares that are owned by a company with multiple locations don't have MD's on staff physically there. That said, I've also noticed the trend that many provide sub-par care.

I paid up front over Venmo, feeling comfortable with it because of his good reputation on here. And indeed he did not disappoint. Andre showed up to my house exactly on time. He went over the instructions of the kit for the test I was having done, and already knew what to expect. He asked the right questions - "Are there ice packs with this one?" "Does it need to be centrifuged?" He was even such a pro he knew which cabinet door held my garbage can without looking. The poke itself was right on the money, nearly painless, and without complication. He took the kit with him to do the postal dropoff himself - it was included with his services. One less thing for me to have to do, which was appreciated. We shook hands, said goodbye, and that was that. He did not solicit me for a Yelp review. A lot of service providers will offer deals to customers in hopes of scamming their way into a good review - it's a red flag whenever I see it and it makes me mad for having wasted time reading reviews that were essentially bought. But Andre didn't do that at all, which is why I immediately got on my computer to write him a review anyway. He earned his reviews by being good at what he does. I'd use him again anytime.
