I actually walked out of this Place feeling confident in getting bloodwork again, which has never happened the girl that did my blood work was super sweet and very calming. she asked if I was OK with getting blood work done. I did tell her, I'm very iffy about it. The bloodwork did not hurt at all. I didn't even feel a pinch or anything. It was quick painless, and the girl was so sweet I can't get over how good this experience was especially for having blood work done.

Quest is a disorganized mess of a company. I've visited this specifc lab (Northland Plaza State…read moreCollege) several times and have had a host of issues. Issues range from corporate policies, dysfunctional website/appointment systems, and poor staffing. Some Examples: 1. Multiple issues with Quest not accepting a written order from Penn State Hershey Physicans because of very rigid and unnecessary Quest policies. 2. After making an appointment and checking in with their fancy kiosk, the lab technician informed me (15 minutes later) that I hadn't checked in despite being told otherwise by their system. She then proceeded to check me in using a very old account from over 15 years ago which did not have all the correct information or previously validated information from the online appointment process. 3. Due to being checked in under an old account, my lab work did not automatically show up in my online account. I spent almost an hour with Quest Customer Service reps trying to merge or sort out the account mess to no avail. 4. Have been told I owed money before services were rendered when my insurance covers 100% of lab diagnostics and has done so EVEN FROM THEM in the past. Needless to say, I'm done with Quest Diagnostics. Mt Nittany's Lab made it very simple and accepted the order as previously written by my physician. They also made it very easy for future visits and eliminated the formal checkin process. Kudos to them. Quest, you need some work because you are throwing business away with your poor management and business policies. If you need a lab, go somewhere other than Quest!

Then they put you in the restroom and are knocking on the door before you're done. They terribly assume you;re in there cheating the urine test. When I didn't have enough in the specimen cup they told me I couldn't leave as I was already in the computer. I told her I cant stay , I don't have time to wait here. She tells me they 'll (my company) not give me another order number for a return visit and I told her "of course they will !" The nerve of that place.
