Finally was able to bring my family to investigate this kinda obscure but extremely cool place.
First, the staff was superlative. Friendly, smart, cool, accommodating. They seemed like a family and we immediately felt welcome into it.
Pass through the old mansion, cross the beautifully landscaped courtyard, and you are in a modern, fresh, bright library housing 40,000 sports-related books.
It appears to be a rather serious research library and we were just playing tourists, so I will report that my kids thought it was cool to hold an Olympic torch and enjoyed playing foosball and putting while I nerded-out with the staff and man-handled the book collection. read more
