I only gohere when I'm last minute because it's close to where I live . EVERY SINGLE TIME I end up having to soak them off to get them done elsewhere because they are horrible. There's so many techs working but none can do nails. No one can do design (that they charge $45 extra for) because design are mandatory gel polish. I didn't mind paying extra but no one can do designs so they were pretty much winging it. so I was stuck having to get a solid color. Lumpy polish and rude. Today was definitely my last time coming . 1star for location and convenience. This nail spa was once a gem. The service was once superb and staff was skilled to perform true pedicures. Nowadays only one person is skilled to do pedicures and the others are just winging it. Recently the space was remodeled. The staff could benefit from proper nail health education and techniques. I've been going here on & off for more than 10 years and have only been satisfied a handful of times. I only go when I'm in a serious pinch but I won't be back. My nails were all different lengths and shapes and they didn't want to remove the acrylic from my big toes so they just filed it into a hump & polished over it. What? The techs act inconvenienced if you tell them to fix their mistakes which is not fair ESPECIALLY when paying $150 plus a $20-$25 tip. read more

this is the work I just receive for $81. I'm sure you guys can understand my frustration. -the lady that did my "deluxe" pedicure was very rough and sloppy. she did not clip the sides of my toenails (which you'd think would be included for the deluxe pedi $45) anything I mentioned she seemed to not care to understand & continued to handle me very rough as if washing a car. she didn't do a good job removing the dead skin as you guys can see in the pic. & when the guy tried to correct her she swung her hands in a "dont correct me manner" . I had to ask for more glitter to be added because she barely put any. my "french" style polish does NOT have the cherry gloss finish it's supposed to. she washed my feet with COLD water. after the massage when she applied the lotion, she doubled back & wiped it off with a DRY towel. nothing else was added to moisturize which would explain the rough appearance. I just can't believe I spent $45 on that type of treatment/dElUxE pEdIcUrE. -the male/expected manager said to me next time ask for someone else. as if i'd ever go back again. as an owner (come to find out) why sit there & condone that type of behavior?? once he saw I didn't leave a tip ... of course, he polished my nails very sloppily and didn't clean them up. I have lumps from the filling which didn't create a smooth overlay. at all of those multiple points, I was just over the place & will for sure NOT return. I was shocked to have recieved such terrible service given the reviews I read. this place was a just a NO for me. so horrible, that I stayed in the parking lot to make sure I left a review of what I had to endure. not once was I offered a different technician, a discount on the next service, something taken off AFTER verbally, respectfully, expressing my dissatisfaction. I was raised a certain way so I didn't make a scene and I paid whatever amount he said because i did receive service,right? a very crappy one but someone did something. despite my refil being $25 + $53 ($45 deluxe pedi & I'm assuming $8 for french tip with glitter added) which equals $78 but was told $81. I'm assuming the extra $3 was for the glitter he to re- add. which he wouldn't have had to if the lady did a proper job. again, this is what EIGHTY ONE dollars brought me. you have been warned lol. Decided to stay on the Westbank for part of my Mardi Gras visit this year. Found this nail salon because of its great reviews on Yelp. Got a full set, french tip, solar nails with the buffing cream and I have to say that this salon lived up to their great reviews. Every single nail tech was friendly and polite. I only got the basic pedicure while my boyfriend got the deluxe but even then, I felt like she took her time with the pedicure even though they had other clients lined up. I give them 4 stars only because I called that morning at 1030am for a 130pm appointment and we still had to wait almost 30-45 minutes before we were about to get our pedicures, even though we showed up on time. I have visited this salon on multiple occasions and have been displeased more than satisfied with the services provided. They lack on consistency and cutomer service. I visited today requesting a service and had to repeat myself SEVERAL (to reinerate I repeated myself over 4 times!!!) times and still did not receive what I asked for. I left without allowing the nail tech to finish because mid service she walked over to another nail tech proceded to speak in their native tongue. Her coworker looked over at me and laughed. I was extremely uncomfortable paid for services incomplete rendered. Unfortunately I frequented this salon after being disappointed multiple times. Previously, I have had my nails filed crooked and after pointing it out to the nail tech she had an attitude. She handed me the file and I filed my nails myself. I used to come to this salon frequently when I lived in the area. I wish I had read the reviews before dipping my feet into the water. Their pedicures are beyond over-priced and I can say firsthand that the giggles and comments in another language are not kept to a minimum as promised by the owner in response to a similar review. It is obvious when negative things are said about a customer. The service left something to be desired and it is truly "not about the experience" as another customer mentioned. The service is rushed and cheap with a hefty price tag. They also have the nerve to have up charges for things that are usually standard in other (more affordable) pedicures elsewhere. When you really need time to relax and pamper yourself, you should be able to escape without feeling cheated. I didn't want polish on my toes today, but the cost for the most basic pedicure makes one want everything that could possibly be included (nail polish, "free" wifi, "free" mini water.. Everything!)because it is so obvious that we are paying handsomely for everything single thing! The lotions feel cheap, things that shouldn't hurt during a pedicure hurt, and the prices could never help you overlook any of it. The only good part about this place was the price for a full set of nails. After I said what I had came in for I started walking the wrong way and the lady who was supposed to be doing my nails fussed at me for doing so. When she had glued the tip on, she asked me what length I wanted them to be and she showed me an approximate. I told her that was too long and she went WAY shorter, so I then told her I wanted them a little longer. Instead of listening, she started to cut so I then stopped her and told her I said I wanted them longer. She looked up at me and rolled her eyes then continued cutting the rest of my nails. While filing my nails, she cut two of my fingers and drew blood yet didn't even acknowledge what she did, just sat there and let my fingers bleed. When her coworkers came and pointed out that I was bleeding she just started arguing with them until eventually someone switched out with her. All of the people who worked on me kept reminding me how much they were going to be and kept asking me if I had enough money to pay. Even though I said yes every single time, at least 3 people continued asking me over and over again as if I looked like I couldn't afford a $25 set of nails. I actually just came from here, the guy who did my nails did a terrible job. My nails are so uneven one is round and bulky the other is super long and some are short. I asked him to file them down because they look uneven and he only did one after I showed him and he said "what else" with an attitude and took a deep breath. He was so ancy and did my nails with such a rush. I will never come back here and hopefully who ever goes there does not get him. My nails do not look even my thumb is slanted and not a straight file. I will definitely have to go back to Who Dat nails bc I will never come back here EVER again.
