But i miss something. Not sure what. I order an espresso macchiato and a slice of banana bread. They serve me a latte macchiato (which was replaced immediately with an espresso macchiato) and a rather boring piece of bread. The bread is grey-ish, i don't bake so maybe this is a good thing. I would not order it again though, i like my banana bread a bit more moist, a little more flavoured and more appealing :) The service is good, very friendly. The woman at the beginning of this review apparently works here as she suddenly appeared behind me and said: "oh good you did come in", but she was right, the coffee is good. Including the cookie that came with it. I might return as the location is brilliant, on a rainy day like today, and a bus not running anytime soon, this is where you wanna sit down and have your coffee, and drink it too ;) Happy Sinning Sunday y'all!

While it functions as a cozy, traditional Dutch brown café, virtually everyone comes here for one main reason: the famous Dutch apple pie (*appeltaart*). It completely lives up to the reputation. Served warm with a massive dollop of fresh whipped cream, it's thick, perfectly spiced, and has an almost cake-like crust that sets it apart.
