Wow, what a disappointment. The place was packed. Usually a good sign. Almost everyone spoke Italian....another good sign. Downhill from the excitement of the beginning.
We sat for a long time waiting to order. Decided we were tourists so we had to wait. Ok not problem. Finally ordered. Then it took forever for drinks to arrive much less food. There was one other table of non Italians and they were having the same problem.
Food finally arrived and while it looked pretty good it was awful. The caprese salad was disgusting. The tomatoes had no taste the olive oil and mozzarella were such low quality we could not eat it. The Pasta Norma was ok but there were ONLY two small bites of eggplant. The bruschetta had the same tomatoes with no taste and then there was the olive oil again. All the salt in the world could not help these dishes. The bread was like at least day old if not older.
Place was slammed and very lively.
We were sad. The prices were very inexpensive. But not worth the effort. Can't recommend. Sorry read more
