After having dine at the same restaurant in Wilmington where this place was originally established…read moreand what it's named after, I was so delighted to see that they opened a new location here in Greenville. I was pleased to see that the menu was the same, and the food was just as good. Their fish is all fresh and never frozen. For people in Greenville, the location of this restaurant is next to the Starbucks and kind of near Nothing Bundt Cakes and Orange Theory Fitness. The dining area itself was much larger than I expected it to be and I was really impressed with the space. There is ample seating for many people to dine, and I just love the decor in the place, especially the oyster lighting. My service tonight was exceptional - very intentional and considerate and not overbearing. Items I recommend are the crab dip with the warm pita slices, the fried Thai chili shrimp (basically bang bang shrimp, if you know what that is), and definitely the tacos! I went for the grilled/blackened shrimp tacos tonight which are served with mango salsa, lettuce, black beans, and corn, and a delicious sauce. You can choose from other fish options too. And don't worry if you are not into seafood, there is also pasta, chicken, and steak. The desserts are delicious and include an espresso brownie, crème brûlée, cobbler, key lime pie, and more. There is a full service bar with wine, beer, and liquor. Prices are exceptionally reasonable, & the portions are actually pretty big, and especially for the price for delicious and fresh seafood. (Where else can you get this in the immediate Greenville area?) This restaurant is perfect to celebrate something or even just for a casual night out. You can go with family, friends, date night, professional -- it checks all the boxes and can match all the vibes. You can also order food for pick up/to go. They have many of their dinner options available during lunchtime for almost half the price, and on weekends there's even a special brunch menu! I'll definitely be coming back here. Really happy it's the same quality as the original location (or maybe even better!)

A place to go back to again and try more plates

I was told by a coworker how good this place was, so I wanted to try it out for a while now…read more We got there at 8 and hoped it wasn't too late (they closed at 9 and some places quit seating at certain times), we were seated, no problem. The food was really good. The fish and shrimp were both well cooked and good tasting. The waitress was very nice and kept checking on us. The cakes are also very good. You get a large slice, and they have a big selection of cakes. Also the prices are cheaper than other restaurants if the same type.

I have been faithful n loyal customer and often bring others along however my last experience I got fried catfish b scallops . Well the scallops were smelling like ammonia . I stopped n did not eat any. My guest and tried getting a man attention I assumed in management and he was so busy with his conversation with another customer he came over 15 min later and instead of apologizing he acted as if it was OUR fault the scallops were rancid. He said something like we should have let him know.,, we tried and we did not eat them but tried to enjoy the rest of our meal. I like my food Hot. Needless to say we have not been back. I later found out he is the owner...? What??? Oh no I will not be patronizing that type of disrespect. No thank you . The staff are friendly yet they no longer have my support. I used to refer them to others but no longer will I do that.
