I have been at Casa Rita for lunch with some colleagues…read more First of all, I'm not sure why somebody would define this bistro as "Italian". Yes they do have a selection of different type of pasta dishes but I would find it difficult to define any of them Italian. They have a wide selection of food to make a personalised antipasto, but I cannot judge it since I haven't tried it. The bread looked good and tasted great; I cannot say the same for the pasta (we ordered three types) which was generally overcooked and tasteless. Since I wouldn't visit it again I will give it 2 stars.

She had the tagliolini with crayfish and asparagus which was delicious and just spicy enough. I had the tagliatelle with truffle and beef which was indeed great and very copious. This is not our first time there and we will definitely continue eating there. Service very good.

It is great for both a semiformal dinner or a date (no, you don´t need to suit up for this). Also they have two big screens which come in handy in times of Football (plus points for that). Service was also great! Our waiters were very atentive and patient (yes sometimes it takes me ages to decide on a dish) and they were also very outgoing and engaged with us (the kind of human warmth that is so hard to find here). In fact if this was my only criteria I would´ve definitely given the restaurant 4 stars or more. Food was really good, but there is always room for improvement.Tastewise, it was great. It was actually perfect for me (not oversalted, not too much oil or fat also healthy yet tasty). However, my criticism comes from the portion size vs. price criteria. Generally I am willing to pay a lot for small portions of food, if and only if they are mind blowing. I am still not entirely sure if I enjoyed my food to such extent. Additionally we had white wine, which was rather average. For these reasons only, I had to remove a star from my first Impression. Mucho love, D.

I couldn't finish the whole thing in one sitting but it was no problem as they were fine boxing it up for me. My partner and I went here for Valentine's day 2020 and a reservation was definitely required - but don't know if that's normally the case or not. I tried the pumpkin Gnocchi with cream sauce and my partner had the Truffle Oil Pasta in the cheese bowl. Both were really tasty and we really enjoyed it. Also, the bread and bread dip which they bring you before the meal was delicious. We also tried the Tiramisu cake for dessert - just awesome. Can definitely recommend this place! In relation to other restaurants in this area, the price is definitely ok as well.
