NANCY waited on me and she was so kind and helpful with menu choices. I had the carne asada burrito which was overflowing with meat! Love the taste with their beans ( not canned) and cilantro. SO fresh! Their salsas and even their chips were delicious! I could only eat alittle bit and the rest was to go. It was nice and cool inside and very relaxing. I was blown away by all the items made by scratch. AUTHENTIC! I honestly can't wait to come back and try more items! DON'T pass this place up! Plenty of parking. Thank you Nancy for a delicious meal!

I purchased the shrimp burrito(regular) rice, beans, and Every bite had a shrimp and the green sauce was delicious. The burrito was nice and steamy hot also. Customer service was friendly and fast. I highly recommend. Thank you so much. I be back when I'm in town again. There's a few tables to eat also.

Visited August 29 2025. See my receipt as always…read more I was craving Mexican food and I found this great restaurant in Colusa ( Off Fremont Street). It was highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! I got there right when they opened (11 am) and was greeted by a friendly and sweet lady ( Elizabeth). I was given complimentary chips and salsa ( love the habanero along with regular salsa). I got the lunch special that came with an enchilada and tamale (#3) along with rice and beans. WOW,,,UNDER 13 BUCKS! The tamale was my favorite with alot of flavor and the rest of the dish was super delicious as well! They have a large selection of beer ( wine also available). I love being able to sit down in an air conditioned restaurant and relax! I would normally spend over 20 bucks for the same dish! Wallet friendly! Seasoning was on point! Still had leftovers! The restaurant is very clean and the bathroom was spotless. Plenty of parking ! Such a great experience and will definitely be back for carne asada and albondigas soup! Thank you Elizabeth for your superior service! 5 stars and 5 star service!

They also have beer and sodas. They have pozole on the menu as well. Good experience and good food!

Visited June 27 2026. See my receipt as always…read more First time here at this restaurant in Colusa California. After driving from Chico to Colusa we decided to try this place. Although not much to look at when you drive by but inside is nice and airy and comfortable! I ordered the breakfast burrito to go. It was full of eggs..potatoes..bacon and the salsa was nice and spicy! It was HUGE! The young lady did a really good job on making the burrito! Authentic flavors! The seating was both a covered open air inside or you could sit outside where it is uncovered. Dog friendly! Menudo on Sundays. Taco Tuesdays for 1.50 each! What a pleasant surprise! Friendly employees that take pride in what they are preparing!

They brought me this monster that was almost bigger than the plate. I ordered Carnitas in the burrito. I have to say that I was a little disappointed that I didn't get sides of rice and beans until I cut into this thing. The rice, beans, vegetable garnish, and everything were inside. It was a wet burrito. A red sauce that was pretty good. It was really good! I could not eat more than half of this burrito! That's never happened to me! I'm usually a glutton. My wife ordered two crispy tacos and was very happy. The Salsa and chips were a little disappointing, but I'm not going to take off a star. In any event, the Salsa was watery and needed something. I can't quite put my finger on it. Oh yeah, it needed Flavor! The service was how I remember it. Very good to excellent. Worth a 20% tip for sure. I will come back! The prices were bargain basement prices. An amazing value for what we were served.

This place is so cool. Right on the Sacramento River just (literally) a couple minutes outside of downtown Colusa and the vibe is rustic casual. The service is usually lovely and attentive and the gals who serve there are accomodating and kind. Try the green bean fries - the sauce is bomb and these crowd-pleasers are always crispy and served hot! Burgers are delicious (try the Texas Toothpick burger), too! Nice selection of beer and cocktails too (straight tequila for me) - so yes, they have a FULL BAR!
