    Seaside view

This hotel is part of the luxury collection in SPG. I have SPG platinum, so I was able to check-in early and use a suite upgrade to get one of the nicer suites. If you get a room with seaside view, I highly recommend it. If you cannot get one of those rooms, I would recommend you go to a different hotel nearby that has better room rates. The room itself is very spacious with nice views of the ocean! On a clear day you can make out Sorrento in the distance. The hotel has a roottop terrace with also very nice views. You are paying for the luxury here, so if you are looking for a place to kick back and enjoy some good views this is it! It's a short 10-15 min walk from the main plaza and there are a bunch of restaurants by the pier that you can try out. The boardwalk is really nice for running in the morning and is always full of people walking around. Good for a short stay in Naples.

Friendly, clean and conveniently located for what ever you need to do as a tourist. The ferry to Capri is almost walking distance, it's about an your cab ride to Sorrento area. Very tourist safe area (although a bit of a ride from the airport). The breakfast buffet is better than most hotels, but still not exactly where you'd go to for brunch if you were out picking between dedicated restaurants. Rooms are great size with high ceilings, great decorations and large bathrooms. The closets are huge, it's more like an apartment than a hotel room! The real reason you're here though is for the view. Def. upgrade to the ocean view as it's a picture that will probably become your screen saver or Facebook profile pic!

Max is awesome, he's the bartender at the hotel bar. He's very friendly and makes really good fruit infused vodka that puts you to sleep when you can't. The room was nice and the area was safe.

This hotel has a lot of character and charm, but the best thing it has going for it is unbeatable views. It's on a corner so views on one side are of Vesuvius (the "Tony Soprano view" from one of the episodes where he's in Italy and drinks his coffee on the balcony of his hotel) and on the other side are great views of Ischia and the Castell del Ovo. The decor is very elegant, with displays of antique silver tea and coffee services, historic maps, rich rugs, and polished mirrors. It reminds me of a grand hotel from an earlier era. Our 5th floor room had amazing views and was very well appointed, particularly the huge bathroom. The bathroom felt very modern and immaculately clean. Nice furniture in the room had a lot of antique charm. Lovely turndown service including putting out little floor mats at each of our sides of the bed and general tidying up plus providing more towels. Complimentary breakfast was served on the rooftop, which is a beautiful space with amazing views. The rooftop garden (accessible by private elevator) is a calm, serene space with again, those amazing views, for quiet sunning, reading, or afternoon napping. Breakfast was plentiful but not super satisfying to an American palate. Italians don't eat much breakfast and I get the sense this is what they think hotel guests will want, but it was mostly a lot of rich cakes and sweet tortes and pastries. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable English speaking desk staff. We had to leave the hotel at 3:30 a.m. to get to our flight and the desk man jumped right up and was so helpful and gracious. Very safe, walkable neighborhood.

However, we were given complimentary access to the spa for two hours, for which we made an advanced reservation. Upon entering the spa, we were greeted and given a quick tour of the facilities. They had various water baths maintained at different temperatures, sauna and steam rooms, and a Turkish bath--we tried it all. They also had a relaxation lounge with complimentary water and tea. Since we were celebrating our honeymoon, we were upgraded to a room with a beautiful view of the water. We were very impressed with how clean the room was. On the occasion of our anniversary, the hotel also provided complimentary champagne. Everything about the room was perfect. We highly appreciated that the hotel staff went the extra mile to make us feel special. We also really liked the location of this hotel as it was close to all the happening areas. The next day, we had a complimentary breakfast at the hotel. They had a wide range of food options with a buffet service coupled with à la carte breakfast dishes. They offered different types of cheese, breads, and more. I got the avocado toast, and my husband got an omelette. The food was delicious and fresh, and we also tried a couple of Italian snacks, which were delightful. All in all, we had a great time. If you are looking for a nice hotel in Naples, I highly recommend checking out Romeo Hotel.

I expected the hotel to just take away the 59,000 points I used to book this stay. Instead the hotel went ahead refunded the points and charged be almost $400 cash value for the room and refused to take the Marriott Bonvoy points. A scam. If you are a Marriott member and hold a Marriott credit card I would beware booking with this hotel. After attempting to resolve this matter with the hotel (Sabrina) via email she continued to refuse to take the points. They stated this is their policy to take cash value. Not your typical Marriott hotel. Awful customer service.

We arrived early and we knew our room would not be ready; we had already planned to explore the area while waiting for our room. They were attentive with holding our luggage and Roberta gave us a map and explained in great detail many options to explore in the area. Close to shops, restaurants, museums, and much to explore. Napoli is very characteristic. Narrow roads, historic buildings, many scooters coming out of nowhere... It was a great adventure for us. Hotel is well maintained throughout. Rooms were great. Breakfast in a beautiful courtyard. Room service was fast and efficient. Bar was attentive with a very nice lounge. Ambiance inside the hotel was pleasant throughout. I would love to visit again.

You can almost see horse-drawn carriages pulling up. The hotel has preserved the royal feel of the architecture while giving the inside a completely modern style. There is free internet on a computer on the main floor in a study across the corridor from the lobby, and the main courtyard is next to an indoor modern lounge with a bar for when it's just too hot to sit outside. The rooms are nice, and I really enjoyed just lounging around all the pretty areas near the courtyard, or looking out my window before bed at the courtyard view. The morning breakfast was good and served in the beautiful inner courtyard. As always in Italy, coffee is delicious and the baked goods were a sinful way to wake up. The reception staff was very helpful and polite and so so nice anytime I asked them for anything. They gave me a good map and advice for the best way to get to the best pizza in town:) Location wise, it's about a 12-15 minute walk from the Termini, and with very heavy baggage and tiny, bustling streets full of people and traffic, it can be a little taxing to walk up there in the blistering heat. You could take a taxi if you wanted, but if you have time and a map of the tiny streets, it's not far at all. It's also an easy 10 min walk to some of Napoli's famous pizzerias, including the one from Eat, Pray, Love, called Da Michele. Beware, it is a crazy walk through tiny streets filled with people intent on walking very slowly while they talk very loudly, and scooters coming out of nowhere from round the corner, or buckets being lowered from high windows to people ambling by. Haha but that's Napoli and if you brave it you, you will get to eat delicious pizza (or go wherever it is you're going). While I stayed, they did host a wedding in the courtyard, and because of the wedding there were some disgruntled guests who couldn't get a drink at the bar because there was no barman for for than half an hour. An enterprising American tourist went and got her own just as the barman got back haha and told him not to bother himself in a very efficient way as old ladies do.

The hotel itself takes up the top floors of a building, with the jacuzzi on the very top floor. There is a metro station on the next block from the hotel which is very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel's decor is simple, chic and modern. The room was rather small as was the bathroom, but the jacuzzi shower unit was amazing (our room did not have a tub, we booked a deluxe double room). The toiletries were great but I wished they offered hair conditioner also. The room has a safe and WiFi, as well as a coffee maker and complimentary coffee. They provide robes and slippers. The curtains, when closed, kept the room pretty dark. In the evening, a complimentary dessert was left in the room for our enjoyment, a very nice touch indeed. The bed was comfortable enough, however because we had two beds put together to create one large bed (not our choice) there was an unevenness in the middle of the bed which was annoying. The breakfast, usually served on the rooftop unless it's raining, was rather basic but adequate providing fried and scrambled eggs, cold cuts and cheese, some cereals, bread, yogurt, pastries, fruits, as well as espresso drinks prepared to order. The highlight of the hotel was definitely the rooftop lounging area and jacuzzi. We made it a point to take advantage of this amenity every evening we stayed at this hotel and it was a great way to unwind and relax.
