This is probably the best food in the airport. The tacos are to die for. And the drinks are amazing specially the mango margarita!!

It's a great spot to wait or relax before your flight and you can find it right after security for G gates. Though the lounge was quite busy, we were able to walk right in and seated immediately. Unlike some of the other lounges I have been to, you don't seat yourself no do they have a buffet or various self serve stations, but you have a server and a menu to choose from. The menu was curated from a michelin rated chef and has a nice option of local businesses and more American/traditional such as pizza and burgers. Though the menu has prices, it is complementary to card members. They also have a full service bar, but did not have a menu for any options. Other than it taking about 10 minutes for us to be given a menu or our beverage order taken, service was good. The team was working hard and the lounge was busy, but QR codes on the table or some sort of streamlined ordering, even through ones phone as an option for the table would have made the experience a bit smoother and kept us from sitting idly for 10 minutes. While in CDMX, I of course had to get a mezcalita, so started with that, which was fresh and tasty. Then my husband and I shared the Tijuana cesar salad (it was just a regular salad), the house burger with fries, the ribeye tacos, tuna tartare and flan with custard for dessert. Everything was good, but not great. It was fresh and definitely hit the spot but not standout. The tuna, fries and dessert were the best! The burger and tacos lacked a bit of flavor, but were high quality ingredients. Overall, it is a beautiful lounge, the staff were very friendly and working very hard, but it's not a quick in an out visit and I think their system could use a bit more automation to be more efficient.

You can order as much food and drink as you want, which is a nice perk. The scrambled eggs with turkey, ham, and bacon were my favorite. The beans were warm, but bland, and the tortillas were hard and inedible. The sourdough bread toast was okay, and it was also bland.

The Priority Pass…read moreshowed this lounge was elsewhere, but I came across it trying to find the Centurion Lounge. I don't know how this lounge got all the good reviews. Seating was limited. Self-served food was subpar and no dishes or utensils. The server gave us a menu and never came back to take our order. We had to order the food at the bar. (Priority Pass gives you one main dish per person and one drink per person. Other items on the menu are separately charged as noted.) I don't have a strong urge to come back. I'd rather check out other lounges if I'm back in Mexico City airport.

It is definitely not a bad way of killing time as they assign you a recliner seat, where you can have wait service for a limited menu of food and soft drink. Comfort level is not bad, but it was too warm for my preference. The place had no AC and it was cooled with some fans blowing lightly. If you are flying Volaris, this is conveniently located and you will find this lounge close to gate 19. They had a limited buffet of soups, salads, and breads. I didn't indulge in that. I thought of ordering a burger but ended up ordering a mollete with cochinita pibil. Wasn't bad but wasn't great either. Also got some cold water and coca cola. The coca cola was served with ice, but the fountain drinks were a little flat. Overall, the experience was okay and far better than being at the gate without inclusive food/drinks. Service was friendly and was happy to have access to clean bathrooms. Apparently, they intermittently have manicures and massages; however, I didn't see that as I came for a relatively late flight.

Access to this exclusive lounge requires holding a Premier card with HSBC. You can also bring 2 guests in. Food can be ordered at the counter. Given our current pandemic, this is nice because it limits people from touching things. Food and drink is served quickly and promptly. I had the mushroom omelette which was nice, along with a espresso cortado (yum!). Everyone wore masks during my stay here, including those making phone calls. I'm so used to seeing people talking on their phones with their masks off. At least at this lounge, people have the courtesy to respect mask rules! While the lounge is small and may not be as big as the next door Aeromexico Lounge, it makes up for it by being a more comfortable experience. Clean, quiet, and respectful folks -- what more can you ask for? I'll definitely be back here during any visits/transits thru Mexico City.

I've been a HSBC premier member for over six years and never did I hear or know about such airport lounges. When I got back home I looked it up and it seems they are only located in South America for some reason. The lounge has many TV screens, free wifi, free appetizers/snacks/wine/beer. All those are unlimited and the staff there are happy to serve. Great service, nice place to relax in between flights! Only thing I wish is there was HSBC lounges in the US!!!
