This is our go to place when we visit Morelia. We have our Sunday family dinner before we go back home. Juan Alegre has been our server since day 1. The food was great as always. The service was excellent Juan always takes care of us. Ambiance was great. My family and I really enjoyed this place.

Guacamole was yummy!

Michoacán restaurant style food. Not homemade but it took care of the craving. Food portion is big!!!

Good food, amazing service, amazing country. What more can you ask for. Our server was extremely attentive and the carnitas were on point.

Our server was very kind and attentive throughout our entire meal from beginning to end. She saw that we were struggling to make out some of the items in Spanish and brought us menus in English. Complimentary appetizers included fresh chips and a bowl of lime, habanero sauce and another spicy salsa. ARRACHERA: comes with cheese stuffed jalapeños, guacamole, beans, a whole grilled onion and deep fried chorizo. MOLCAJETE TARASCO: I've seen this a few times at some Mexican restaurants and figured what better time to try than when in Mexico?! So delicious. Grilled shrimp, fish, steak, chicken and cheese atop a deliciously and spicy green salsa verde. JUGO DE SANDIA: You can tell the fruits they use are super fresh. No need for sugar the drink was naturally sweet! Overall an amazing meal.

El Mole was everything! Hands down the best I've had, it wasn't sweet with just the right amount of spice. Order a casuela to seal your meal. It was incredibly refreshing and delicious.

A great little cafe in the center of Morelia. Phenomenal service; the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Not only do they serve typical Mexican entrees such as chilaquiles, pozole, and tortas, they also offer spaghetti, steak, and seafood. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. My advice though, is to stay clear of the molletes; not bad, just not worth it, since its beans over torta style bread.

I came to eat here in the evening with my family members. I ordered enchiladas sin pollo. My family members ordered the arrachera. There are not that many vegetarian options, maybe like 3 and two of them being soup. If you want a carne asada style plate the arrachera is for you and its very filling. Be wary of the beans and rice, they may not be fresh. You are given chips and salsa. The two salsas are delicious but the chips are a bit hard to chew. I suggest eating outside so you are not constantly bothered by people begging for money or selling candies. Not memorable, but somewhere you can fill up so you're not hungry.

The place is right in the center of it all; was iffy but the servers where extremely friendly. I ate a good breakfast and the prices were seriously decent. I disliked all the solicitation.. before, during and after I was done eating.

It was good I enjoyed my food. The pancakes felt a little dry but overall it was good. The staff was friendly and it has a very nice view.

Machaca for dinner? Yes please!

The staff is rude and dismissive, the food order was incorrect, the food arrived cold, and the dishes were flavorless or made incorrectly. The cafe has turned into a tourist trap due to its proximity to the plaza in the centro. It's not worth the money or time. I recommend La Guercita only two blocks away if you want good, tasty food and attentive service. Examples. My mocha had no chocolate flavor and my wife's dirty chai tea was not anything close. My father in law order juevos rancheros that came out completely cold and the sauce was wrong. And I was told that a chicken Milanese torta would take 45 minutes. Guess breaded chicken is a hard dish to cook. Pass on this place. There are many other better places in the centro to get breakfast or lunch.

We finally asked someone if we could be seated. After we were seated, they brought us menus. The server was nice. I asked for a recommendation between the Caffe Nutella or the Caramel and he said Nutella. I went with his recommendation and it was good. My daughter wanted breakfast but they were no longer serving breakfast. It took several minutes for our drinks to come out, and it took about 20-30 minutes for our food to arrive. The server didn't check in on us at all and didn't bring us napkins until I asked. We ordered a cheeseburger, enchiladas suizas, lasagna, a smoothie, several aguas de Naranja, and a coffee. The enchiladas were super spicy! For someone who does not eat spicy, they were extremely spicy. We were having a wonderful conversation but kept getting interrupted by vendors, which, honestly, ruins the vibe. I understand vendors have to sell but we are trying to eat and talk. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The inside of the place is super cute. My recommendation is eat inside so you can eat in peace and enjoy the cute vibe. Our total was $910.
