The food is good, but the workers are really rude. They act like they can't change a drink for you…read moreeven if it tastes terrible. I guess it's normal here to have terrible customer service. The workers also stare at you and whisper if you seem to cause any inconvenience to them. They also blamed me for making the drink sweet when I got it that way. I only asked to exchange the drink and they had to have a whole team meeting lol. I guess that's the way customer service is here. They made me uncomfortable and made a big deal out of nothing. So if you come here and don't like your drink or food just eat it and pay for it anyways because apparently it's impossible for them to provide adequate service.

I have always been impressed by the quality and value of the food, as well as the delightful piano music in the mornings. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was very different. I ordered a latte and a pastry, but the pastry contained several long black hairs. When I asked to speak with the manager, she came to my table and, rather than apologizing, simply informed me that I would only be charged for the latte. What disappointed me most was not the hair itself, but the response. A sincere apology and a gesture of goodwill would have been appropriate. Given the circumstances, I believe the entire bill should have been waived. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive and indifferent to a legitimate customer concern. This was a very disappointing experience at a café I have previously enjoyed and recommended. I hope management places greater emphasis on customer service and professionalism in the future.

I suppose this is more a review of the supermarket as a tourist spot, but I'd recommend walking through if you're visiting Mexico and want to check out a local market. We were wandering around the outskirts of the historic center of Morelia when we spotted this place. The market itself is pretty large, spanning a few small city blocks on each side. The produce and meat sections of this market were what set it apart from the rest. Rows and rows of delicious looking meat and stacks of colorful fruit and vegetables were just fun to walk through. The clothing and dry goods sections also had a much wider assortment than the other markets we visited. Word of warning: If you've issues with seeing meat or poultry on display, this is not for you. You'll see tons of cow heads, intestines, etc..
