I went out for a meal with friends on a Monday night. It looks nice considering what the rest of…read morethe area has to offer. The building has some character to it. There weren't many tables to serve and about three servers, so we thought it would be a pretty quick service. It was instead pretty slow considering everything. But ah well we're not on a time limit. When the waitress came to take our order she seemed pretty competent, but I guess that was not the case. I am sure I ordered correctly and specified seafood risotto. It was a longer than average wait, but everyone got their meals. Of the table we had pizza, pasta and risotto. The first two had pretty good reviews but the risotto was not up to scratch. They got both my order and an order behind me wrong for a large group of ladies. I wanted seafood risotto but instead got some strange pink thing? I queried it and asked if this was seafood but they kind of brushed me off and not being a picky eater I decided to have a go. It was some sort of cheese risotto but bizarrely it tasted of 'ready brek' a British kids porridge type of thing and the other at my table confirmed it tasted quite porridgey, though their flavour was a little bit better. It was bizarre, but I didn't want to wait again or try to complain again. So I ate my ready brek like a good boy. The lady behind waited and all her friends finished long before her when she got her meal. Also risotto, rushed and watery, so I didn't want that either. If you want pizza or pasta then come here, it seems risotto is out of their skill range. Staff were I'm afraid to say not on the ball. Maybe it was a bad night? Shame, I won't return.

I am going back to salou in May and cannot wait to go here again. We had a bread basket to share, 3 main courses, 2 desserts, bottle of wine, a pitcher of beer and a soft drink and it came to £69 which I thought was really good value.

Definitely accept the bread offer for a starter, the focaccia was delicious…read more The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived, but it turned out we were just early for the locals. It was almost full when we left. The pizzas came very quickly, before we had finished the focaccia and the crust was super thin and crispy. Simple and tasty, would go again.

After all, we had a stressful journey from Valencia that required us to transfer to a different train in Barcelona. Once we checked in and walked out of the hotel, I just pointed to this spot like there was no other choice. Fortunately it wasn't bad. It could've been because it's one of the waterfront eateries that draw passing tourists like Republicans to gay escorts. The menu was fully Italian and pretty robust with a variety of choices. We decided to split a couple of things. The first was the 14,9€ Insalata Cesar, a Chicken Caesar Salad they served in a flatbread basket (Photo 9). They served mixed greens instead of romaine. Although light on greens and grilled chicken, it had a lot of Parmesan shavings, focaccia croutons, and Caesar dressing. The second item was the 18,9€ Pinsa Pancetta e Tartufo, a surprisingly large flatbread topped with truffle cream, Italian pancetta, melted mozzarella, mushrooms, and black truffle pearls (Photo 10). It was definitely enough for two. All in all, pretty good for a dining impulsive choice. FOOD - 3 stars...overloaded Caesar but the pinsa was satisfying enough AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...we sat in the enclosed patio which was just fine for us SERVICE - 3 stars...a bit discombobulated TOTAL - 3 stars....you could do worse among the waterfront eateries here RELATED - Exploring Sitges? TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!! I really wanted to go to that…read morerestaurant, it looks so nice from the outside and it was my bday so I was super excited about getting pasta marinara. But the whole experience was horrible! 1) the waitress was very slow although we were the second table who came there 2) she brought me dirty glass for wine 3) she broke the cork so had to bring new bottle of wine 4) she forgot to bring cheese and oil for appetizer 5) after 25min since we ordered main meal, she came to us and said they have no sea food (i was so pissed off because I go to Italian restaurants only for sea food pasta).. so we kinda complained because it was already way too much and I really wanted sea food (it was supposed to be an early bday celebration) so she spoke with manager and I got pasta with shrimps. If we knew that before, we would just leave and come there some other time 6) food wasn't tasty, shrimps were over cooked (way too soft meat, it didn't taste like seafood at all) and the sauce was tasteless, just oily and portions were for two people and of course she didn't tell us so none of us finished it all 7) my friend got broken "pasta fork" so when he tried to put pasta on plate, it all fall off and it was all over the table I don't like to complain to get free stuffs or discounts (I used to work in restaurants and customer service myself) but most of good restaurants do something for people when they have such bad experience. They didn't even apologize there. And when we wanted to talk to manager while leaving, just to tell her how bad the service was, she wasn't there. I used to work as a flight attendant so I traveled a lot and this was my worst experience in Italian restaurant all over the world DONT RECCOMEND AT ALL
