The waitress speaks fluent English and was very knowledgeable of the menu. FOOD: I had the green salad for my first course and it was probably the best salad I've had! The juicy tomatoes, fresh greens, tubed cheese and crunchy onions all came together beautifully with the light dressing! My boyfriend had the mussels which were very fresh and tasty! For the main course, I had the cod with potatoes and my boyfriend had the veal (hard to believe for the lunch price). Everything was delicious and well prepared! The cod was gently baked with a cheesy topping. The portions were very generous and we were really satisfied after our meal. SERVICE: Excellent from start to finish! The waitress did not rush us even though it was approaching their closing time, which was a nice change coming from the US. The restaurant's outdoor patio is a nice place for people watching while taking in the view of the historic Cathedral! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant without any hesitation for its excellent food, approachable menu, great service and affordability!

Fast service, waitress speaks a number of languages which helps a lot when ordering. Child menu comprises complimentary water, which is a very good thing un the summer! Tapas menu is a bit expansive for the number of possible tapas, and you must be 2 to order it. Normal menu is not expansive, and you can try a number of various local dishes (fideua, paella, gazpacho ...). All dishes are huge, you'd better be hungry or willing to share with your friends/family. Bread is also included in the normal menu, which is not so common in Spain.

Well-lit, wide space, and beautiful calming aesthetic to take you away from the touristy Las Ramblas right nearby. I went straight for Teresa's Favorite Kale Salad (€12) and their Mango & Avocado Tartar (€11), only to realize the latter was essentially already included in my salad. The large bowl of salad had a mix of kale (duh), tomatoes, sprouts, avocado, nori sheets, mango, and radishes. It was fresh, delicious, and much needed after a week of eating nonstop paella. Service was friendly but a bit slow. We waited nearly 30 minutes for our food to come out even though it wasn't busy, but that may just be the Spanish culture.

I love how everything is labeled with allergens. My sister and I split four veggie dishes - roasted broccoli with zhug sauce and pomegranates (a unique orange sauce that was so good; the broccoli had amazing char and the pomegranates was a perfect juicy crunch) - roasted cabbage pie (not actually a pie lol, I think the translation is more like cabbage steak. This was a light orange sauce that said chipotle as well but I didn't taste any heat. The cheese was divine and the crunch of the pecans was perfect. I loved all dishes but this was my "least" favorite - roasted boniatos aka sweet potatoes (this came out steaming hot and was soo good. The yogurt tahini sauce was creamy and nutty and once again good crunch with the pomegranates; yes there's a theme. The sweet potatoes were not crunch themselves so the Poms were a great addition - the star of the show for me was the berejena jackfruit, which had eggplant glazed in miso with the jackfruit, a chili jam, peanuts (see the crunch theme), and more. It was hearty and the flavor was deeply developed and packed a wonderful flavor explosion Food came out very fast! It also wasn't busy at 7pm, early for Spain!
