Everytime I've ordered it both ingredients are perfectly ripe and delicious, even out of season, abindant enough for a light lunch. Which takes me to my next point: If you want to have lunch here it is imperative to reserve, as it's always full. As I mentioned before, this restaurant is situated on the lake front, and it features a magnificent sunset view over the lake, from the upper terrace. It is also possible to sit outide in summer. The service can get sluggish, and it goes from bad, to just ok.

Tables are left unattended and patrons ignored and scoffed at when they finally get up in desperation to ask for menus, drinks, food and bills. Food takes forever to come out, and once it does, is mediocre if not simply nasty. Considering how few options Zug has, this restaurant needs to be replaced swiftly by entrepreneurs who have a vision, passion for food, people and creating a good atmosphere. We ordered a coffee and a water and proceeded to look at the menu of Pizzas. The beverages took about 10 minutes to arrive and when we ordered the pizzas..."Sorry,..no Pizza after 14:30". It was 14:40.. We had our heart set on Pizza (which were 24-26 CHF..but it appears the Pizzeria only serves Pizza at select times. We decided to leave and asked for the check. When I told the lady we would pay with a card...we got a deep and unhappy "sigh". "Sigh....we won't ever go back here. The people need understand a Happy Customer brings in revenue, good location or not.
