From the outside, it looks like nothing special, but what a pleasant surprise as soon as the affable owner opened the door. There are only 3 massive sized guest rooms, each decorated uniquely different and all stunning. There's a coffee bar with tea and a Nespresso machine (that alone won beaucoup brownie points with me)-and the location was perfect, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the waterfront. Not to mention the delicious breakfast and reasonable price. I'd come back to Bordeaux just to stay longer in this comfy retreat.

Montées sur pilotis, elles côtoient le feuillage des arbres. Refuge, lieu de l'enfance par excellence, la cabane est le lieu de tous les rêves et de tous les secrets. Ici, cet aspect est recherché mais sans omettre le confort d'une maison traditionnelle.

Hi We stayed here this July. We had a great time, the kids…read moreenjoyed the huge pool and there are plenty of games and toys that Dorothy and Ian provide (the owners). They also gave us some good information about things to do and see. You must see the 'Som et Lumiere' at Valance if you get the chance. Also the markets at Montcuq and Motaigue de Quercy. It was a great base for us and loads of room to relax with wonderful views. Mat n Joan
