Sun-drenched property with a friendly staff and an even friendlier chef.
On my visit on a weekday November afternoon, the entire village of Saint Paul seems to have been on holiday. I was delighted to have found this restaurant just along the town's edge further down on the dining strip.
The waitress was incredibly polite and offered us prime seating on the upper deck patio, affording us a view of the luxury hillsides. Apparently locals prefer to burn trash on Tuesdays.
La Sierra doesn't carry a permanent menu but rather a menu du jour. On the day of my visit the Provencal plate looked particularly tempting. It's a medley plate of minced meat ratatoille, fresh tomatos, sauted aubergines and an assortment of cooked vegetables. Quite hearty even for a carnivore like myself.
