Classic South of France fare served with a hip twist. Good selection of starters and main courses as well as a handful of dessert standards. If the weather allows opt for and outdoor table and watch the throngs of shoppers and tourists while you dine. A great choice in Cannes.

Great spot in old CANNES , typical French bistro deco a bit too touristy ,always very busy with lots of choices and great wine selection : they do carry the château Maime Rosé which is a big plus , the lamb Shanks with gratin Dauphinois is a must , but the carte is really diverse , lots of fishes : I like the daurade grillée , also steak tartare, ribs, Burger foie gras , cuisses de grenouilles , etc, so much I forget , and a huge selections of desserts to die for Service is friendly A good adresse!

excellent, excellent, excellent! My cousin in Cannes brought us here for dinner and it was unreal. I ordered the camambert with truffles, the lamb, the foie gras and eggs and everybody else thoroughly enjoyed everything else. This gem is located off the main road on a beaten path and the food and service was exceptional. I strongly suggest coming here to eat if you are in the area. I will 100% come back here next year for my annual summer trip to France.

    Chicken Parma French style.

Artichoke starter was amazing and the whiskey lime drink is one of the best I have had. Great restaurant in old town Cannes.

Really good meats. Duck breast & filet mignon are really good, and lamb shank is to die for.

We got the full course meal for £28 and a bottle of pretty good Rosé for £22 to share. Both the food and the service were great. They were very nice in helping us choose to eat something since we speak little French. If we ever come back to Cannes (next two years maybe) we will be coming back here to try their other food.

And hats off to the owner who literally was the only waiter in the packed little restaurant and was serving the wine, making the espressos, bussing tables, taking orders, making desserts, speaking to each table a bit, having a wonderful attitude, and doing it all in good timing to all the satisfied customers. The chef himself even pitched in with helping serve, totally in sync with the owner. These two amazing guys totally changed my and my wife's perspective about how other restaurants are run - especially when tipping here is more of a courtesy and in the states many restaurants just add 18% on to your bill for gratuity regardless of the service you got. I left the owner just 10 euros and he was so thankful and graciously declined but promised he'd give it to the kitchen staff when we insisted that we just had to appreciate them with a tip. Unreal, awesome, classy, can't wait to return.

The outdoor setup has plenty of umbrellas, which helps with the direct sun. We ordered the calamari, and I had the Peach Me Up cocktail, it was deeeelicious! My biggest issue was the service. I specifically asked my waitress whether the chicken or sea bass was better, and she recommended the sea bass. However, my food came out as chicken. When I brought up our conversation, her response came across as unnecessarily rude, which definitely affected the rest of the service. One side turns into more of a party atmosphere around 3 PM. It's a little pricey to reserve a spot, but I'd still visit again for the atmosphere and overall experience!

I do agree it's as an overpriced, overcrowded daytime club rather than a quality dining destination. The food misses the mark on taste, presentation, served cold, and of course the high price. Service is alright but you can't blame them as they are doing a million things for so many tables all at once. They are getting your food and delivering bottle service at the same time. The best part about this is the transportation, best deal and sweet gesture for them to do for us. $29 per person to get to the restaurant and it runs smoothly since you need to arrange it ahead of time and getting there early is key to help them from falling behind. Overall, I feel it's overhyped but definitely a vibe you need to experience once while you're living your best euro-summer life in the south of France to ultimately be your own judge, cheers.
