A family run gem in an alley in cauterets france. The dining room is modern, comfortable and cozy. They have a nice outdoor seating area but it was a bit cool today so everyone was inside. The Service was friendly an on point. The wine list is not huge but they have some good wines at good prices. We had a Bordeaux that went very well with my entre.
The menu is not huge but plenty of variety. I had the gabure which is typical of the area and was very glad I did. It's a huge stew with white beans, potatoes, carrots, cabbage and confit (they have a vegetarian version too). It was very good , tasted great. My wife ordered an excellent trout that came with roasted potatoes and a salad. They have a great desert list, we went with the chocolate moose, obviously home made and just perfect.
