Again I am shocked with their outstanding (especially for Europe) service, one dish we ordered required extra time so they sent a complimentary appetizer to keep us "busy" I recommended strongly to order an appetizer with a crazy name "egg" I want to say it was the best thing that ever happened to my tastebuds- I still don't know what I ate but it was a culinary explosive... For mains, we split the Jordanian rice and a couscous dish. The Jordanian rice was simple but came with a nice mix of pine nuts, almonds, raisins, and served with a large amount of hummus. The couscous dish was served with roasted veggies (largely carrot and zucchini) on a large bed of couscous and a side of absolutely delectable soupy marinade that everything was cooked in. Turns out this was much too much food for 2, but our tummies were very happy. Recommended if you need a break of the same old pasta/pizza that are available at most places here.

This is basically the new generation of "classic" Bologna restaurants. The staff is, as expected, helpful, the wine list is quite good, and the mascarpone is off the charts (seriously). We arrived promptly at 6pm and were the 2nd table seated. I'm so glad we came early. Over the next few nights we noticed so many people waiting outside all night long. We were expecting red sauce bolognese so it could just be that we just had different expectations. He also ordered the steak and enjoyed it. My husband had the fruitti de mare and thought it was just okay. Something to know is that because they are so busy with so many people waiting, they like you to order everything together. We noticed a server who got frustrated with another table who tried to order apps, and then tried to order the main meals after they finished them, then dessert.
