Ask for Fernando, he's the best. Service was fast and excellent, prices reasonable. Overall a really good experience.

the location is outside of my typical area, but i was curious to try the empanadas…read more the restaurant was clean and quiet, there is plenty of seating and ample parking. the empanadas - i had one each of the chicken and beef. they were finger-burning hot, even after 15 minutes of letting them sit to cool, but i was so excited to try them, so i had to dig in regardless of the burn they were pretty greasy & small. the beef was really good. the chicken was stuffed with a tiny trace of chicken and i dunno what else, maybe masa, but they are definitely mostly filled with the other ingredient and way too little chicken, so it was hard to judge the taste and texture of the chicken. the corn "shell" was nothing to write home about. so-so. it was reasonably priced, but the portions were teeny. the salsa provided was a cucumber-ish relish or similar, refreshing and not spicy at all. it was just ok, or may be a better accompaniment with a different dish. i may go again, to try a few of their dishes & if we go back, i will certainly update my review

El manager, aunque muy amable, no hizo absolutamente nada para arreglar en algo tan terrible experiencia. Lamentable! The positive: The service. The negative: The food. We ordered a chicken sancocho and a seafood casserole; we were served shoe leather and cheap Walmart seafood with three pieces of imitation crab meat. $65 thrown in the trash. The manager, although very friendly, did absolutely nothing to make up for such a terrible experience. Disappointing!

It was a little bit of everything and I was in heaven! I'm a soup girl and had previously had home made sancocho and loved it. I was really excited to see this on the menu, especially for a cold night! The patacones were delicious as well, especially with the chicharron. Would definitely come back again! I would love to try one of their platters.

So, we decided to take him for a relaxing evening for some "home cooking;" his dad is from Colombia. I'd driven by this place for years, always thought it was cute, but never had been in to try it out. Well, the inside is even cuter than the curbside! We were quickly greeted and shown to a table. It was around 8 on a Friday night. The service was just what my friend's dad needed, joking around in Spanish and answering random questions that an older person might have when seeing food they grew up with and hadn't seen in a while... and, then, the food. I'm not familiar with Colombian cuisine, so I wanted to try something traditional. The presentation was sizable and I really like color on a plate. Then, it was flavorful and filling?! YUM. We walked out of the experience laughing and purely delighted at having had a great night in sharing a unique experience. Strongly suggest folks swinging through, when you're in the neighborhood... or, give yourself a special occasion and make a trip!
