This is my favorite boulangerie in Paris!…read more I stayed in Gentilly and this spot was a mere 15 minute walk away from me. Over the course of a week, I was able to try their espresso, cappuccino, pain au chocolat, croissant au beurre, both the ham and emmental and ham and butter sandwiches, and a handful of their pastries. All were very delicious. Out of all the boulangeries I've tried, this one had the best croissant au beurre. The only thing lacking was the fact that they have no seating, but that's pretty typical. The service was good but nothing too impressive. They get very busy at peak times (8am, 12pm, 5pm) so expect ordering to be a very quick, no-nonsense process. Definitely try this spot if you can!

I basically had one chocolate éclair a day :) Their croissants are the best I've ever had. Whether it be the regular, almond or chocolate. I especially liked their pistachio madeleines too! I still think about this baguette - perfect bread, juicy white meat chicken with lettuce and tomato.

It's a very French place and a good place to go if you're just looking for something to eat. I wouldn't call it an extraordinary experience. I got the steak frites, which was pretty good. It wasn't outstanding, I would say, but it has a good atmosphere and a great location. I give it 3 stars. The service was good, maybe 4, but I think 3.

I got a few pastries and it was still early enough that they were still warm! The Croissant was probably the best I had on this trip. It helped that the Croissant was fresh and warm, but it was also crispy on the outside and buttery & flaky on the inside. The Pain au Chocolat was also great but it could have used more chocolate for my liking. The Chausson aux Pommes was sweet, slightly acidic from the apples, and definitely heavier of the pastries. I've also never had fresh madeleines before and knew this would be the place to try them. The Madeleine Glacée were buttery and lightly sweet; these actually go so well with a cup of coffee or just a bite if you need a quick snack. All in all, great try!
