Amazing!!! Can't miss out on this place!! I haven't had great tacos since living in Cali until now!! The Horchata was delicious & I couldn't get enough of the Tacos de Pastor & Lengua!!!! Homemade tortillas were to die for! Ordered a side of rice & beans- portion size was perfect. The Tacos de Pollo were flavorful as well! Can't go wrong with an authentic place like this!!

I wished I lived close to this restaurant because I love their food so much! I normally get Tacos when I come here, their Tacos are authentic and cheap, I usually get Lengua and Al Pastor. I'm glad they expanded their restaurant. I'm willing to support this restaurant and comeback here everyday if I can! Definitely worth 5 stars!

Christmas brunch brought us (for the first time) to La Riviera Maya. Surprised they were open on Christmas Day, and it wasn't crowded, so no wait. The restaurant was spacious, clean, and the booths were tall. The staff was friendly, service was fast, and the food was tasty. Definitely coming back.

Amazing tacos! Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed. Authentic Mexican cuisine at its finest. Prices are very reasonable and you will not leave hungry. Service was very fast and friendly. I did not order it this time but the spicy shrimp looked delicious. Lots of sauces on every table. Tacos were $2.70 each which is a nice price. I will absolutely return

A nice little family run lunch spot we started with guacamole and chips both were fresh and average in portion size. Then split 6 different tacos all authentic Mexican in spice and meat choices. Our only side was refried beans that was a great choice . I rarely get in the area but if I do I will stop by again.

Sorry, Yelpers. I should have photographed the beautifully presented meals my sister and I ordered. Unfortunately, my primal Mexican obsession took over when the plates arrived. By the time I remembered, you wouldn't want to see what was left. My sister ordered a Steak Sincronizada, and I ordered Pollo Asado. A sincronizada is sort-of what a quesadilla wants to be when it grows up: two huge grilled tortillas packed with steak, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. Pollo asado is chicken, pounded thin, marinated and grilled to perfection. Side dishes were on point too. Beans can be boring, but the ones on my plate were rich and flavorful. The rice was also good. The house-made red and green salsas were great. Total cost for two delicious dinners accompanied by Jarritos? $22!

If you come here .. order tacos. I Ordered tacos de asada and tacos de pollo, and they were soooo good ! You have to pay for chips and salsa , which lacked luster.. but the food was delicious !!!! It's definitely authentic, which was a nice change; menu is in Spanish, music is Spanish, TVs in Spanish. We will definitely come back !

Wow. La Riviera Maya really upped their game compared to when I last visited them. The tacos de lujos were very tasty and full of flavor and so was the burrito. Not sure if they've read my previous review on here but I tasted a huge diference. Each bite of my burrito was packed with so much flavor and the roasted chicken complimented very well with the ingredients. I think after today's outcome this place has landed as one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Louisville (:

I absolutely love this place! I can't recommend it enough. Inexpensive good quality authentic Mexican fare, with consistently friendly service. Every time I've been I seem to be the only native English speaker in the restaurant, but everyone is always friendly, and the servers speak perfect English. Service is usually really quick but I found out the hard way that they get PACKED at lunch time, and as expected, your food takes much longer to come out. My personal go-to's are the lengua tacos (beef tongue) and tostadas de ceviche which is the most shrimp and fresh veggies you're going to get in Louisville for under 5 bucks! It's so so so good, one of my top food cravings without a doubt. My husband is a big fan of anything of theirs with chorizo, which I gotta say is also pretty delicious. This food is definitely worth going out of your way for! Especially if you're in the area- try them instead of the more popular tex-mex restaurants! So much more variation of flavor and SO much fresher!!

Best micheladas! I'm so addicted to this place! Please help

Possibly the worst food I have ever tasted. Cheese and beans were as runny as water. Disgusting!

IF YOU ARE ON A DATE ASK FOR PEDRO!!!!…read more I was on a date at this restaurant and when we asked for a check, instead of just asking if we wanted to split the bill, he positioned himself right behind my date and mouthed me the question so we wouldn't have to split the check. This is the first time a server has not only realized that I was on a date, but actively worked with me to make sure it went as smooth as possible. We paid the bill, left, and I made sure I gave bro a 50% tip. I've worked in restaurants for 2 years now and I've never seen a server as amazing as Pedro. If you're reading this Pedro, just know I will forever be grateful for saving me. oh also the food was really good

I had been wanting to go for quite some time to try the Birria because I heard it is so amazing, and it really lived up to the Hype! Oh, did I mention they have the viral soft serve margaritas!?!?! I got the strawberry, it was so pretty, excellent presentation and absolutely delicious! I will say it was more like a dessert to me and I would have preferred to have it after my meal instead if before but that's just me. We got there between 6:30 and 7:00 and it was really busy, luckily our friends got there first and grabbed a table. They had already had a round of drinks while waiting on us but it took a while for anyone to come over to greet us or refill their drinks but again it was busy and everyone was helping everyone. We ended up splitting the birria platter and still had plenty of food to take home which we just ate last night as leftovers and were still absolutely fire!! I think the egg roll and quesadillas were my favorite over the tacos bc I love the melty cheese. I also ordered a small side of queso which was surprisingly a little spicy which I really enjoyed. They even surprised us when my BIL ordered a small margarita and it came out in a fish glass (see photo). It was so unexpected but also so cute at the same time ... it's really the little things like this that bring joy, okay? LOL This place was absolutely amazing and I can't wait to try it again.

We ordered the Trio of Guacamole and they were all fantastic. I ordered an Oaxaca Old Fashioned. The presentation was crazy. It smoked and bubbled. When we arrived we had a brief wait before we checked in, and were seated on the second level. Our server was excellent, our service was quick and he was always around without hovering. It was bitter cold outside so instead of my usual margarita ($14+) I opted for a beer ($6). We started with the salsa trio, one of my favorites with handmade assorted chips. It includes three salsas, somewhat spicy, sweet tomato and tomatillo - the spicy and sweet were my favorites. Next we ordered the tacos el carbon and carbon burrito - pricing is expensive! We both ordered our steaks medium rare. My tacos had a beautiful presentation, the meat came out on a skewer and smoking from the hot coals. All toppings were repeated on the plate. The steak was overcooked and tough though. Had a nice smoke to it, but very chewy. My husband enjoyed his burrito but wasn't the best he's ever had. They also had a mariachi band walk around but they had "tips" all over their instruments and clothes. Overall we had a nice meal but the price point doesn't equal the food quality.
