We waited until one of the instructors came to the desk. We got there 10 minutes early. The intro class we signed him up for was starting as we were still waiting/checking him in (There was another person in front of me). There didn't seem to be any type of check in or greeting of the students, they just started, and it seemed like there were a few new kids. No greeting or introduction for anyone to know the new kids names, no 'hello' or 'welcome', and my son missed the first few minutes. When it was our turn to check in, the instructor looked at his ipad and saw my son's name, and said ok just go ahead and get him in there. So we told my son to go ahead and run and join the pack (thank god he's a pretty easy going kid, otherwise I'd imagine that other kids might have a hard time just jumping into a new class, not knowing anyone, doing something completely new, and getting along). This studio is a very very large space, and they have two separate classes happening at the same time, there was a lot of yelling/screaming of the class on the left side, while the other class (our son's) was trying to listen and pay attention to what his instructors were saying on their side. There is no wall divider, so you can hear everything. When it came to the gymnastics part, there were two instructors. The girl sat on the floor most of the time and barely paid attention to the kids or got up to help them, teach them, or switch up to a new activity. The other girl who was helping them roll down mats was ok, but a few times she let other kids get in front of my son while he was patiently waiting. For 20 minutes they just practiced rolling down a mat before they moved onto another activity. This was our first experience as we are looking to get our son enrolled in gymnastics, maybe this the norm, but we were not happy with the complete disregard that we existed, we probably could have walked in and had our son join one of the classes for free and nobody would have noticed.

People don't do much reviews on parks. Why? I don't know. I have been to this park 4 times in the…read morepast. I truly like this park very much. It's close to home and offers a lot of activities to do. It has children's playground equipment, 2 basketball courts, 4 BIG, tennis courts, a dirt track, clean bathrooms, picnic area, nice spacious landscape and the most important, it's kept nice and clean. This park is one of my favorite parks in Studio City. They have recreation areas and can let you sign up for sports/classes that interests you. Recently, I had taken few classes with couple of their teachers/coaches and they are WONDERFUL! Earlier this morning I went to play tennis with one of my friends. Tennis is one of my favorite sports to watch and to play. We don't keep score. We just like to play and have fun. You can walk, jug, people walk their dogs, kids, they have picnic areas and do a lot of kids birthday parties.. or you can just simply sit in silence and enjoy nature, the sunlight and have a good, peaceful time. Private lot parking, or street nearby parking. They are closed on Sundays. Kind of weird, but it's their rules, not mine. That's when people usually spend time with their families. I am not going to dock a star for that since it meets all the other amenities & requirements.

I'm hoping to find a public track & field type of walk/run path in the valley! The sand is nice on my knees but annoying when ends up in my shoes!

I can't believe how lucky I am to have found such a top notch training center so close…read more 1. Coaches are all high level champions either World Champions or Olympians, etc. They train using proven Soviet and Russian techniques and disciplines. I love their coaches! 2. The owners, coaches and parents are all very supportive, patient and friendly. They help me and encourage me (yes I need it - more than my child ;-) ) 3. The proof is in the pudding - the competition teams all place in the top 3 spots in all of the various levels. If your looking for a "fun" recreational gym that plays with your kids and has birthday parties - DON'T come here! But if you're looking for a place that will help your daughter focus and learn technique, structure and discipline then this is THE only place in the Valley to come to! Caveat: I'm a lil upset about the parent visiting from out of town that took photos of the bathroom and left such a bad review that had nothing to do with the training. Now EVERY time I check into Yelp it posts the photos of the toilet. I have been coming here for months and it is NOT like that ever. In the gyms defense, it may have been due to the high volume of lil children using the restrooms during the competition. But I don't put it past some entitled mom scorned and getting her payback by throwing seat covers and tissue and taking a photo. I think its kinda funny...at least they had plenty of TP and seat covers! lol :)

I love love and love Mrs Hasmik because of her work ethics, brutal honest comments I love it ( I know it puts people on spot ), but now-days people are too sensitive and you don't see this type of honesty . I love Mrs Karine because she cares about our kids, teaches them not only about the gymnastics, but also about life,. She notices their inner worries. She is tough, but at same time sensitive to notice their nervousness. Mrs Angie is such a humble and lovable person. Mr Rosie is pushing the kids to discover their maximum potential. She is tough and yet all the kids have special love for her. Our humble Mr Goharik teaches kids the new tricks to master the movement, teaches then to be tough and do what's necessary to do no matter of circumstances. Every teacher is unique, and students love all of them individually. I always recommend parents to take their children to this gym not only because it's a good place, but it's also one of the few places where Money is not everything, where you still see honesty and fairness in teachers, where the love of teaching and caring about their students well being remains priority.
