A gourmet selection of tasty tea, great WIFI and delicious pastries...what more could a girl who…read moreworks out of coffee shops ask for? Before coming to this tea house chain, I had heard rave reviews from friends, so when I finally decided to go, my mind was pre-blown (usually I try to keep my expectations low for places like this so I don't get disappointed but thanks to my friends I was super excited and expecting something great). As I got to the door I was hesitant to go in since I didn't know what to expect (I mean I did...apparently a great tea salon and cafe but I didn't want them to be wrong). As I walked in I was pleasantly surprised - the ambiance was even nicer than I had imagined! It is spacious, clean and cheerful; making for a great working space. I sat down in a small table (although there were many other nice looking areas this was the only one with a plug for my computer). The waiter promptly came over and handed me two different menus: 1 for the tea and 1 for everything else! Although I am not a big tea fan, I decided to order one anyway since it would make no sense to not order tea at a tea house (right?). Well, I met in the middle and ordered a Tea Latte, delicious and perfect for the cold winter day. I was only going to order a tea because I was meeting someone for lunch, but as soon as my eye caught a glimpse of their delicious dessert options there was no turning back. I got their Key Lime Pie (seriously good) and carrot cake (yes, I ordered two...I couldn't decide). Both were good but the Key Lime Pie won my heart. I also saw they offer brunch (my favorite meal of the weekend), although I can't vouch for it, if it is anything like the quality of their cakes and teas I definitely think it would be worth trying.

The manager (who happened to be from my hometown) gave us a free sample of one of their teas, which I found it to be a very nice gesture. I would be visiting again some other time.

Perfect for a hot summer visit in December or January! The food was terrific, I enjoyed a delicately flavored Coronation Chicken starter followed by a tender, tasty entre of beef with green lentils and delicious warm beetroot. The home made lemonade is worth ordering as well. Spanish and English language menus available for the lingusitically challenged (like me)! We were given a wonderfully warm reception by Cecile Latham-Koenig. You won't regret eating here, you'll be talking about how much you enjoyed the experience.

It also came with ceviche for an appetizer which I was a little nervous about because it's kind of warm in Santiago right now. I made the mistake of ordering an extra yuca frita with it. Mistake because it ended up being a huge amount of food which we couldn't finish. Everything was delicious. The salteado was steak and shrimp and it was really good. It had more of a gravy than just a soy sauce base I am accustomed to. I highly recommend them for delivery

Once again I've got to say this: the best food in Chile is Peruvian food. Rocoto is delicious. I ordered one of the specialties and it looked and tasted like it was from Costco. My friend ordered a salad and it was large and fresh but it was just a basic mostly lettuce salad wth some tomatoes and avocado slices. The first bottle of wine they brought was not what I ordered, it was a brand that is readily available in the US and not high quality. I requested a different wine (first bottle was not yet opened) and after that the service was terrible. Bad choice
