Our tour guide recommended this place to us on the drive back to our hotel today…read more First surprise is the HUGE menu lol and yes they have one in English yay I ordered the scallops (absolutely divine!) and husband had the Thai Shrimp - he LOVED it. He said the only thing to make it better would have been more spice BUT they really don't do spicy here. Great curry. It's really a ton of food with just the entrees- but everyone else was having multi courses. So much food! $48 before tip for two entries, a bottle of water AND a bottle of wine, so it's a very good deal too

We took a table by the terrace while watching the match MEX-BRA it's a very nice place, in a good location, good service and tasty food. I'll be back!

WARNING: NO VINEGAR IN THE SUSHI RICE!!…read more I am visiting Chile from the United States. I just had sushi dinner for 4 people from this restaurant via delivery. Based on the excellent reviews, I was very excited to try my first sushi in Chile. I wanted to like it, but unfortunately I am a person who likes authentic Japanese style sushi, which includes vinegar in the rice. The sushi here had no vinegar in the rice (or such little vinegar that it was undetectable in taste). To me and to the Japanese, this is not sushi. After I commented on this observation, one of my Chilean dining companions explained to me that this was typical in Chile because Chileans do not like the taste of vinegar. I was very sorry to hear this. I am hoping that I can find an authentic Japanese style sushi restaurant in or near Providencia, as I typically eat sushi at least once a week. In addition, there was too much rice in the rolls and not enough fish or vegetables. The sashimi was warm, served with almost no radish, and sliced too small.

Best sushi so far in Chile. Ambiance/Service: Can't speak…read morefor this as I ordered delivery. I can say that the internet portal was well designed and easy to understand even with my broken Spanish. It won't let you order outside normal mealtimes ("place order" button simply disappears during that time), and the delivery girl was right on the estimated time. Food: Really good sushi. Chileans love sushi and there's no shortage of places (I've been trying a lot lately) and while their preparation of the rice is a little different than in the US (a tad more set and with an odd sweet after-taste), this was the best I've found so far. They feature a Peruvian spin on sushi which a few places do - combining ceviche on top of selected rolls. And you know what - it works! Kind of like a sweet and sour approach to sushi, I guess. In any case, this place does it really well and has a huge range of fillings/toppings so you're sure to find one you will like. As a bonus there are a few meat-based ones (eg terryaki chicken) for those who don't like raw fish. Price: Take-out and delivery is half-price so I got two specialty rolls + extra sauce for US$20 including delivery and tip. I can see I'll be a regular here - and I'll work on getting photos.

You can go right into their restaurant or (my personal favorite) order from them online or over the phone and have it delivered right to your door step. After a rough day at work who actually wants to be seen in public, I know I sure don't. And why should you when there are places that exist like Pizza Pazza that will allow you to just sit back and relax with yummy freshly made comfort food. If you're throwing a party these guys are awesome, their thin crust pizza is always a hit. No need to worry about options for both vegetarian and meat lovers, Pizza Pazza has a huge selection of both. In fact they are so crafty with their ingredient combinations that their pizza are always full of flavor with every bite.

Pepperland is a cool dive bar and is the kind of place you want to go when you're looking for lots…read moreof good craft beer. The menu is one of those old trading card plastic sleeve things with little trading cards for the food and beer. They have a pretty wide selection of brews, from Chilean IPAs on tap to Coronado Brewing Company (from Coronado, California, USA). So the beer is really great, but the building itself is old and a bit cramped (not to mention hot because it gets crowded). I had the spoH IPA and have to say it was one of the better ones in the world - just the right amount of fruitiness and hops. Definitely a good place to stop by to satisfy that craft brew craving.
