I found Lotus Skin Care while doing some research on the web and call to make an appointment . I spoke with Secilia she answered all of my questions. She explained the location where they are, and the service that they provide. I made my first appointment with Secilia. I had the most amazing experience. Secilia is a consummate professional. She's friendly, inviting, and very personable. She puts you at ease and make sure that you're relaxed. She's also very communicative making sure that she understands exactly what your needs are. Every time I call Cecilia answers his phone and says hello Barbara, which adds such a nice touch a nice, personal touch. They offer many different types of Sugaring but I can say that each time Cecilia does it she does an excellent job. She talk you through it while she's Sugaring you and make sure that you're OK and also always ask if you have any questions. I would definitely recommend anybody that is looking for a new location or has never had a sugaring before and wants a new experience or any other services to check them out. It hurt worse than any Brazilian wax I have had. Obviously, that depends on pain tolerance. The girl who waxed me was not the owner (probably mid 20s). She told me to do all the normal positions and it seemed like she was doing a good job. I specifically asked if she got a spot (it occasionally gets missed) and before I even finished asking she interrupted and said yes. When I was done, and my knees were still open on the table (exposing me to the lobby), she opened the door yelled "done!" At me and left the room. There was still sugar stuck to me. When I got home I decided to check out the work. She missed MANY spots including the spot I asked about. Very unprofessional and rude. Will not be returning.

I made an appointment with Karina, the owner, for a Dermaplane 'N Glow Facial. I had read the description, but it didn't do this heavenly experience justice. Karina welcomes you with a warm smile and has you sit in a comfy chair to fill out a number of forms so that she is completely informed about not only your skin, but your overall health and well-being. She then explains what will happen during the hour you'll be on the heated table. Quick change into a half robe, and she gets you settled and comfortable. She then thoroughly inspects your face and neck and tells you what she feels will be the best outcome for you. She's got a very gentle touch and the dermaplaning is completely painless. I actually thought it felt good, and that my skin was feeling lighter and clearer. Once she's done, you get to see what she's removed. Wow! must be most people's reaction. But it was such a nice feeling to have all the dead skin and peach fuzz off of my face and would be able to accept the various cleansers, lotions and serums she would now apply. One of the highlights of the facial was the very thick and chilly, but very refreshing peel off mask that was painted on to my face. Everything she did made my skin feel better and better. And if that weren't enough, she gives a wonderful shoulder, chest/neck and arm massage. Add in the warm towels that are placed on the face throughout the facial, allowing your pores and skin to be as clean as possible, and you just melt into a completely relaxed and clean, smooth state. After the treatment, Karina goes over what she used and what she would recommend for your individual skin type. She does have products for sale, but she also takes note of the products you currently use and will let you if they will fit into the refi mine she has established your skin for. She's not at all pushy and feels that if you have good products at home, you should use them and then when you're close to using them up, you can contact her about perhaps trying some of the products she used for you. She also gives you a sample of everything she used for the treatment so you can keep her incredible work going at home. She's a kind, caring, warm and fun person who has really done her homework. I felt I was in very capable hands, and my goal for super smooth and clear skin was met beyond my expectations.

I was able to get a last minute appointment this evening for full leg sugaring. Amber was outstanding. She checked me into my appointment and performed my service. She walked me through all the details of the process and went above and beyond helping to get some of the ingrown hairs on my shins from years of waxing. They have a small waiting area out front with water and small snacks and candies. Everything here is super pink and extremely clean and honestly just such a great energy. I really enjoyed how Amber asked if I had any allergies prior to starting the service and walked me through the clean ingredients that would be used on all products. Sugaring does not hurt at all compared to waxing and this officially is my new favorite service spot. When Willow did my eyebrows she first looked at them while I was sitting up and we spoke about her plan. I have notoriously wild eyebrows and it's very difficult to get them right so I often let them grow out after someone has gone too thin, or misshapen them. That was the case when I went to Violet- they were fully grown and bushy, and you can see the fantastic result in my photo. Willow is clearly very experienced and great at what she does. Her time is super flexible and she works on appointments which is amazing if you have a hectic work schedule. I've always been SUPER scared of waxing, but i love the whole sugar wax thing. It's def not as painful and the little pain there is lasts about 5 mins. Afterwards she uses tweezers and makes sure that everything is removed. She's also super friendly which makes it easier to lay there wide open. I will def be going back and dont plan on ever using a razor for that area.
