Definitely worth a visit. The decoration is quite impressive, full of mirrors and hookahs and colorful tiles, etc. Inviting ambiance. The thing I remember most about this restaurant unfortunately was the fact that the couple sitting near us was undergoing a quite public break-up, which made our meal a little uncomfortable as we struggled not to look at the scene unfolding around us. Hardly the restaurant's fault, of course.
I'd say only come here if you're hungry; it'd be a waste otherwise. The hummus was nice but I'd recommend the eggplant spread as an appetizer, as it seemed to be more flavorful. The couscous with chicken was unfortunately a tiny bit on the dry side, but I did enjoy it the following day as lunch (did I mention that the serving sizes are quite big?). We couldn't handle the dessert so I can't comment on its tastiness.
We picked La Princesa originally because of a deal on El Tenedor, but I think I'd head back here if I had a hankering for Arabic food or hookah-ing. read more
