I went to this post office and it was busy, but the staff were very helpful. They essentially did everything for me and it cost 10 euro. They spoke enough English to understand what I wanted and to communicate what I needed to do. It worked out extremely well.

We had some shipping to do while on Paris. We wanted to ship a suitcase to Spain for when we…read morearrived in Santiago several weeks later. We checked with two different post offices including this one about requirements. "Do we need a box?", we asked. "No", was the reply at this spot and the other spot across town. We arrived the morning of our departure to ship said package. They told us we would need to put the suitcase in a box!! Total cluster. We had to run around in the rain to get boxes and tape. And, wrap the whole thing up to send off. I would rate that as retry poor. Two stars for a clean establishment and friendly, yet mistrained, personnel.

One of the combined bank/post office locations where you will actually not wait in line too long,…read morenot just due to long opening hours, unusual for La Poste, but because of the high number of multilingual automated machines and staff that will help you work them that leave waiting in line for only the most complicated cases (or for those who are tech-averse).
