Food was excellent. Service was on par with what you would expect. Loved the decor…read more Only complaint: it was quite warm and humid so they handed us some generic white fans to cool ourselves off...then they proceeded to ask for them back when we left because other guests would need them. Soooooo TACKY! Lol they didn't even say Dior or anything. Literally, generic white paper fans. We had a party of 7 spending probably about $800 Euro and you couldn't let us take your Temu fans(not even Amazon)? get.it.together.(snapping on the periods).

For cafe Dior it seems like you can wait for seats to open up and if timing works out then you might be lucky enough to get seated. Service was a tad slow, not particularly luxurious feeling, and they had the audacity to emphasize that if their service was a good then to add gratuity. The price btw was already exorbitant so we really were not expecting an additional tip that was not warranted. Overall a very mid experience and would not recommend. It wasn't that nice in there, especially with only one bathroom, the wait could be quite long. On a hot day, eating at cafe Dior truly wasn't a good experience as we were sweating bullets. So we ended up spending 112 euros one two desserts, two juices and two waters. We begrudgingly added tip on top after as well because we were honestly put on the spot. Tip on top probably brought us to about a $150 USD meal. It was a joke.

Our original choice for lunch for our short trip to St. Tropez had sadly closed a couple of weeks…read morebefore our trip. No matter, Le G'Envie welcomed us with open arms- a welcome respite from a brutally hot day. The staff here was warm and friendly and the vibe was decidedly casual and maybe more catered to locals- but in a good way. What was not casual was the very tasty (but not "special") food that the kitchen delivered. Add in a half bottle of cold rose, and you got yourself a local classic. Worth a visit...

Hair in my food & you give attitude instead of an apology!?…read more There's a reason why "French Hospitality" is not an example - the French attitude has improved over the years, it probably sank in their tourism can't thrive without improving their attitude. This restaurant thou! If you zoom in on the pic you can see a small hair on the salad plate. Neither my husband nor I or or little Maltese (all white) have grey hair. I politely called the server to show him the hair & the first word coming out of him "you have a dog with you". Ahole - that's a grey hair on my plate & only person with grey hair is your chef in the small open kitchen! I didn't understand what the chef said but he shouted something at the server & then gave me the most angry stare. If I were 10 years younger I would have thrown the €23 prix-fix in their face & walked away. Last straw was the Duck entree that was supposed to be medium-rare but was more like medium well. Coming from NYC, yes we have higher expectations so i don't quite get these many reviews on TripAdvisor- Mediocre food & I'm not just saying because of their unfriendly attitude. There are tons of good restaurants in St. Tropez. This one is NOT WORTH IT!
