They have everything from full bodied red wines, whites, rosé and Champagne. You buy the bottle in the store. If you would like to enjoy the bottle at La Grande Cave or just have a glass of the bottle, corkage is €8. The light food is well presented, is of high quality and is very individual depending on the waiter. One dish can be garnished with paprika and strawberries by one and with tomatoes by another. Interesting and authentic! You can also buy wine by the glass. They have red/white/rosé of the day for about €8 with higher quality than neighboring restaurants. The winestore/bar has about 6 small tables in a steep alley located in central Villefranche. During high season there is a calm flow of people strolling by. The environment is beautiful with a glimpse of the harbour. This is a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner.
