While in the store I noticed a lot of the bottles were covered in dust. Very small store. While I was walking toward the line I saw a young lady paying for her items, the cashier told her she was good to go. As she walked away he yelled loudly that her card had an error. Then the other worker blocked the door. Only to realize their system was down and her card in fact went through. That was not cool. I could see how upset she became they should have apologized but of course they did not. They then proceeded to yell out cash only! I personally won't be back in this store

They were supposed to look into it and call us, After 2 weeks I went in and they admitted to the mistake. The Owners wife then said she would give me back 189.00, which I was fine with. At first she was going to pay me in cash, then she asked for ID and the card. I gave her both and she said she would credit the card instead. She put the cash back in the cash register and got my card and claimed to give me a credit. I got my bill today with the 189.00 additional charge. This is either a scam or a big mistake. After 45 minutes of fumbling and letting everyone ring up around me, she charged me again... 398.57 for a pack of Beer! Watch your charge slips.

Other than the I loved it. I just moved to PG county and I'm working on finding my new favorite places and I think this one will be added to the list. On the floor are so many wine selections grouped by type and some bigger bottles of vodka and other liquors. The layout is open and the store is fairly bright. The prices were reasonable and I spent so much that I got a Jack Daniels glass short tumbler. It was very heavy and nice. I'll take pictures next time I go.

Thirsty's serves its purpose if you are thirsty for moderately priced alcohol. They have a nice variety of liquors and wines but certain items (that I prefer) take awhile to restock. Overall, this place is decent and serves to the community. I am still salty AF over the lottery machine incident I had 2 weeks ago. But I will admit it resolved itself after a hour or so. The manager never showed up. However, someone went to the machine, when I stepped out to take a tinkle, won a little bit of money, and had the audacity to try to cash out w/ the the worker. Thankful, he knew what was going on and told them guy his $32 was coming to me since he stole my credit. He tried to deny it and when I spoke up, he resolved the issue... in which he had no choice (back to my review)... decent liquor store, mostly friendly staff (based off my interaction) and reasonably priced... HENCE: they are not the cheapest
