We shared a few entrees which were all fabulous - Iberian plate which included cod fish ball croquettes (light and perfect) and rissoes (Portuguese empanada). We also tried the veal with Portuguese rice, which was very authentic. The veal had a delicious wine and mushroom sauce. We finished our meal with a homemade chocolate mousse which was smooth, creamy perfection. Ambience is modern, clean and simple. Our meal and bottle of wine was under 75 euros, which blew us away, considering how fantastic our meal was. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Location, But Be Careful at Payment…read more The location is fantastic, with one of the best terraces overlooking the Promenade and the sea. The tapas and drinks were enjoyable, and we had a great evening. Unfortunately, the payment experience left a very bad impression. The card terminal asked me to choose between "Good," "Very Good," and "Exceptional" while the server was standing right next to me. I genuinely believed I was rating the service, but I later realized those options were actually different tip amounts. I found this confusing and misleading. In France, where service is generally included, I wasn't expecting a tipping prompt presented this way. If tips are optional, the terminal should simply say "Would you like to leave a tip?" and clearly show the amounts or percentages. That would be much more transparent. I hope the restaurant considers changing this, because it spoiled what was otherwise a pleasant experience.

The cheese fries were good but came in a cone so they got soggy under the cheese very quickly. The sandwich was tasty, though there wasn't much cheese. The cod accras were wet damp balls of fish that were then fried. I would not recommend. Venue: This is a delightful venue, though. There's two levels. The downstairs has more traditional bar seating and an outdoor patio. The upstairs has "club" seating with high tops and plush chairs surrounding lower coffee tables. There are also two little balconies to sit at outside looking at the beautiful water.

The others were ehh. I was a little upset that we were told one price for the wine and it ended up being another price. At the end of the day this is a very touristy area and good for people watching. I would think there is better and more affordable moule frites in the area but this is a pretty decent option on the main restaurant strip (fruit and flower market during the day).

They're there just to fill you up anyway), this was probably the best deal around the area in Old Town Nice! My friend and I actually were thinking about going home to eat (by splitting a 6 Euro whole rotisserie chicken) as we walked by this place, but after walking along for five minutes, we were like, "Wow why did we skip past that place? Screw saving money and eating rotisserie chicken all the time, let's get some mussels!" Mussels from this place were super fresh, steamy, and tasty. When we first sat down at 8pm, the service was INCREDIBLY slow because there were so many people getting the same all you can eat mussels, but we sat there for so long, and got so many refills (partially because the wait was so long and we got hungry during the wait time) that by the time we were finishing up at midnight, buckets were coming out within minutes. The waiters were also very kind and were fine with us being there for 4 hours or so. The different sauces paired with the mussels were fantastic, and in my opinion they were all good and unique tasting! I got 6 buckets of mussels with different sauces, and here are the ones that stood out to me: - Lobster sauce with shrimp - Garlic sauce with chopped onions - Spicy salsa sauce By the way, apparently the record here is 11 buckets of mussels...!
