The staff was amazing and spoke perfect English. The truffle risotto was incredible! Everyone tries to truffle up stuff and it tastes fake because it usually is. This was so delicious and light and had real truffle shavings so definitely not fake! The other thing I had was grilled flank steak. Flank is usually meh but this was delicious medium rare! Covered in rosemary, it was the perfect size post risotto. The highlight was a couple next to me with the most well behaved chihuahua I've ever seen! Just sat on a pillow the whole time and didn't make a peep. I looked at the pup a few times and smiled. As his owner stood up to put his jacket on, he just handed me the dog to hold. Is this an Italian thing? If it is, I love it! So, I had a great meal and got to play with a pup. What could be better?

One day we were half an hour early for lunch so the 7 of us decided it was well worth it to sit in the area outside and wait for them to open. The interior boasts plenty of wooden tables and excellent interior design, spacious and looks like it can accommodate large groups with ease. We didn't have a reservation, but there were tables available on the covered patio. There is also open air seating, and it was a perfect night for dining while watching the sun disappear as we enjoyed our cuisine. A litre of excellent vino rosso cost us €6,50, and was a perfect accompaniament to our bruschetta with salmon (€5,80). My Penne All'Arrabbiata came in also at €6,50 and was a perfect balance of flavors and spice. The wife loved her Bigoli al Ragu, also €6,50. Our daughter enjoyed her Gnocchi with a creamy sauce (€6,50!!!), but I would recommend everyone sharing it as an appetizer as the cream sauce thickens as it cools, and she was pretty much full by that point. Our son went with the Pizza Viennese, which he liked - a large pizza for only €5,80 Cover charge (Coperto) is €1 per person, so add the €2 for water and our total bill came to €43,60 for a chance visit to a most excellent restaurant. There is free Wi-Fi with a password you get from the staff, but it didn't seem to properly connect. There are a ton of pizzas to choose from as well as a slew of beers and other beverages. I noticed a lot of the Italians ordering the Aperol and Campari Spritzers, so we may try that next time on another "bella notte" as we will definitely be returning. See you there!
