This place can be easily missed if you're along Sucat road because it's quite discreet-looking and has no parking. But inside is a different story--the vibe is reminiscent of Bellini's. It's cozy, homey, and filled with Italian-themed decor, a leaning tower of Pisa, and so on. You'll forget that you're in bustling, polluted Sucat road! We got the Aglia Oglio Pasta, and a Mushroom Risotto (that they made vegan just for me! Just ask nicely). Both dishes were really topnotch and exceeded our expectations (though to be honest, we had none at this particular time. I mean, any meal after a 10-hour trip from Vigan, Ilocos will be satisfying). Their servers are very accommodating, and at that time they were offering us these really fresh, gigantic portobello mushrooms they had that looked so tempting (but were quite pricey--though to be honest, I STILL think about that moment. What if we had gotten those mushrooms?!?! WHAT IF). Just like Bellini's, at the end of your meal you are treated to a complimentary jigger of Italian sweet wine. Bellisimo!

So you are feeling Italian while in the Philippines, eh? Anywhoo, I should give notice that if you…read moreare expecting "real" Italian, then don't. Because it's hard to get authentic Italian in the region, especially when it's at a super mega mall where it's more about turnover and foot traffic. But in my case, I wanted something besides all the Filipino food had been having for the last couple of days... So Here. We. Are. What I liked: - atmosphere. It was a little cramped, but all in all the decor and ambience was nice. - price/value. So they had these daily deals that sadly, I did not pay attention to... Look at the table flip cards for their daily specials, because some of them are really good, like 150 pesos meals. - my order. My default - seafood spaghetti. I was hungry and it tasted tasty... Probably because I was so hungry. The meh: - portions for pasta are decent, but I think mine felt small because I was super hungry. Also, hardly any seafood in my order. - Service. Omg - really slow and server never checked on us unless we called. BUT - folks, "limited" service is typical. Don't expect the service or treatment as in your western counterparts. Other than that, enjoy the A/C and atmosphere here. Still a good value for the price you pay.

Service was OK, a little slow, but we have noticed that food service is slow in general here in the Philippines. We had a pizza and some pasta dishes. Pizza was different and it tasted pretty good, had a cracker type crust, but it was still a pie - there is no possible way to compare it to a NY style pie; so I won't. Pasta dishes were prepared well, no complaints here, again different but similar from what we would have back home. They also had a selection of Filipino dishes, beer and wine, and desserts. So if you want some Italian this place is worth a try!

She's so refine that you don't even feel her presence when she's clearing our mess on the table. She would come and ask if everything is good so far which you don't get in a lot of restaurants here in the Philippines. Kelvin suggested a glass of wine for us which was outstanding. That is what I am talking about here. The vibe is otherworldly (perhaps that is the jet lag) but it was surprisingly good. I got a pizza that was not too shabby. I was quite tired so I don't remember much else besides good service, a good wine list, and pretty high prices. That is to be expected, so no complaints here. Plus, because I am vegetarian, I knew the Philippines would be challenging for food. I am pleased to say it was not at all difficult here. I went in really underdressed but no one seemed to mind (just me). My travel companions scoped out the place beforehand while I napped in the hotel room, but they failed to warn me that the restaurant was a bit fancy. I think that is good.
