After noon, only espresso. It was the best coffee I had in Italy. It was so good I bought a kg of the house beans to bring home. 7 euro for a huge bag. The store interior shouts classic European emporium, warm, medium-tone wooden display fixtures and wall paneling with mirrors and glass. A handful of golden chandeliers and pendant lights. Most importantly--many glass displays of pastries, cakes, chocolates, cookies. The staff is forthcoming and friendly, ready to help when I mentioned looking for a snack without certain ingredients. Their English was much better than my (non-existent) Italian. I ended up purchasing a little bag of almond cookies €6, with a texture between almond cake and marzipan, baked in little mini cupcake cup shapes. They were tasty though a little on the sweet side. Prices in the store were pretty typical for Amalfi Coast though I think a little higher than average pasticcerias in other Italian cities. Sad to report they no longer sell…read moresandwiches, due to the store being super popular due to the TripAdvisor crowd constantly rolling through. Instead, they have shifted to providing cooking classes while also maintaining an excellent well stocked deli. We were able to scoop up drinks, cheese, crackers and meats for a takeaway charcuterie board. Had a nice conversation with the friendly owner too- really an excellent family run and fully stocked store. Would gladly stop by again the next time we are in Posi.
