Inside was ridiculously hot. We were starving, so we sat inside. They sat us in an area with little to no breeze. We waited an eternity for the waitress to take our order, figuring at least the food should be decent -- anything would have tasted decent considering how hungry we were. And to put the cherry on top -- the glass of wine they gave me had a BUG in it. Ewwww. If we had had more options in the area, we would have gone elsewhere. Never again.

Come here for the location. The most beautiful beach with tables directly on the sand. Good when…read moreyou have kids that want to play. Don't expect great food, and the service is spotty. Some very kind servers, and some just rude. I once asked for a table on the sand, was told no because they were set for 4 people and we were only 2. But several other couples were seated on the sand just after we arrived - the staff just set up more 2 person tables, never bothering to offer us one. Another time we were told by one person we could sit at the outdoor tables on the side of the building, but after sitting the server told us we had to move inside because the section was closed, even though there was another table of people there. Then 5 minutes later, after we moved inside, they sat another group in the supposedly closed section. It's like there are multiple people running the place who are not on the same page.

When in France, do as spanish do!…read more During our trip to Bordeaux we met this recently opened restaurant, there is a shop and a restaurant one next to each other. We first went to the shop and bought some charcuterie, in particular a mixed plate for raclette and some patanegra (not enough unfortunately!). Sausage and ham were just great, but patanegra was WOOOO! mind blowing! The restaurant, well it was a bit awkward at first, we got in and... nobody was there! well.. ok! We just sat down and waited a bit, and a guy finally showed up at the counter. We ordered the special mix menu, including charcuterie, tapas and a hot dish. We already knew charcuterie would have been awesome. as we already tried it at the shop, and we were not disappointed, not at all! and tapas, oh my god tapas! I did not remember last time I ate tapas so tasteful! nothing fancy, plaid tapas (like bell peppers and squid), as I expected from a place like this, and it was awesome! Suggested suggested suggested, nice place, nice food, nice wines! A nice pause from french cuisine with an excursion to the land of bulls!
