When in France, do as spanish do!
During our trip to Bordeaux we met this recently opened restaurant, there is a shop and a restaurant one next to each other. We first went to the shop and bought some charcuterie, in particular a mixed plate for raclette and some patanegra (not enough unfortunately!). Sausage and ham were just great, but patanegra was WOOOO! mind blowing!
The restaurant, well it was a bit awkward at first, we got in and... nobody was there! well.. ok!
We just sat down and waited a bit, and a guy finally showed up at the counter. We ordered the special mix menu, including charcuterie, tapas and a hot dish.
We already knew charcuterie would have been awesome. as we already tried it at the shop, and we were not disappointed, not at all! and tapas, oh my god tapas! I did not remember last time I ate tapas so tasteful! nothing fancy, plaid tapas (like bell peppers and squid), as I expected from a place like this, and it was awesome!
Suggested suggested suggested, nice place, nice food, nice wines! A nice pause from french cuisine with an excursion to the land of bulls! read more
