This studio is adorable and engaging, which caused us to stop in while walking past one evening. I was intrigued by the fact that the little girls in the artwork vary in skin tone, which would allow us to possibly purchase something that looked like our daughters. There was a drawing class happening while we browsed the items for sale (postcards, puzzles, and other little knickknacks with prints of the artist's work). We ultimately bought a larger print to hang in our daughters' room.
Before leaving, my husband inquired about receiving a drawing lesson during our time in Paris. Because there was no other "collective class" being offered on the days we were in town, the instructor offered pricing for a private lesson. We set a time to return to the space the next day at 4pm, which the instructor noted would allow her time to do all of her other work/errands before meeting us. We arrived around 3:55pm the next day and waited until about 4:15pm with no one ever coming to meet us at the studio. We left without the lesson but I was happy that we at least purchased the print when we were inside before rather than waiting to purchase it when we returned for the lesson. read more
