This has to be thee WORST BLOW DRY I've ever received, I have never gotten a "wash & blow dry" the way I did today. If I knew my blow dry was going to turn out this way I would've just done it at home. What's the point in going to the salon to get it professionally done & then walk out like this ?! I got a Brazilian Blowout (BB) by Hanan last week. This is long but please bear with me. For starters, I have naturally coarse hair which is also thick. The issue being I have A LOT of hair and it's also frizzy and poofs up in the humidity (see pic). I have tried countless products to make my hair more manageable with no success. My goal with the BB was to achieve less frizzy, more manageable hair which is easier to style. Hanan was highly recommended by a friend and since I loved how beautiful her hair is after being a client of Hanan's for years, I decided to give it a try. I did my research before so I knew what to expect and had an idea of the after care and maintenance that came with a BB. Initially, I was a bit hesistant because I thought her prices were too good to be true, but now I truly believe its because she is a genuinely nice lady and wants customers to be able to afford her services. I came in and was greeted by super friendly staff. There was no wait time and I was seen right away. Hanan got right to it and led me to get my hair shampooed with the BB shampoo (its like a pre treatment that just washes away residue on your hair to prepare ir for the treatment). Then she applied the actual BB treatment to my hair. This is where things got interesting as afterward she blow dryed my hair. It is a chemical treatment and lets just say its a very potent smell, not unpleasant but strong. After this came the fun part with the actual straightening. This may sound cliché but I never would have imagined the results to be as good as they were. Hanan is very friendly and readily answered all of my questions. I liked that she didnt try to sell me off products and gave me tips and suggestions as to which products I could buy to maintain my blowout and how to care for my hair. I will definitely be back to repeat the process in 3 months. read more
