One thing I noticed is that the staff can get by in English. They put up with my attempt to use my weeks worth of Italian. We didn't notice any hair-of-the-dog patrons working off their hangovers, and the patrons all seemed to know each other pretty well and were enjoying the quintessential Italian breakfast we know and love as a caffe and brioche. We were definitely the oddball Americans, which is fine with us.
