The place was filled with people who seemed as though their bellies were content. Was greeted by an amazing woman who turned out to be the owner. Her name was Charlotte when translated in English. She was so engaging and helpful with navigating the menu. I ordered samosas and griot. OMG! Everything was so savory and seasoned well. This was hands down the best Haitian food I have ever experienced. The griot was very tender. My entire party enjoyed their dish. I had the bissap (hibiscus) juice and the fried banana atchomos, which came in 3 with a spicy, vinegary sauce. They were chewy and wonderful addictive. The atmosphere is very quiet and mellow. You may see celebrities like Stevie Wonder, Rhianna and other R&B singers and Hip Hop performers there and any given time. It's the perfect place to go to after a night of clubbing and your starving for good food when every place else is closed or closing. It can be a bit pricey but it is so well worth the splurge. I highly recommend this as a must on your next visit to Paris.

Very dismissive -- especially because we weren't fluent in French (more or less, we were at the intermediate conversational level). And still 1 hour later nothing. So we left.
