We walked in without rsvp and was able to sit down immediately. The drinks were strong and the food was delicious. I was a bit disappointed that the piklis wasn't spicy but the hot sauce they provided for the table made it for it. The food did take a while to come out but it was worth the wait. The staff was friendly and nice. I would visit again next time I'm in Paris

There is street parking available but I suggest using rideshare. Walked in and immediately knew we were where we should be. The place was filled with people who seemed as though their bellies were content. Was greeted by an amazing woman who turned out to be the owner. Her name was Charlotte when translated in English. She was so engaging and helpful with navigating the menu. I ordered samosas and griot. OMG! Everything was so savory and seasoned well. This was hands down the best Haitian food I have ever experienced. The griot was very tender. My entire party enjoyed their dish. Please run not walk... to this restaurant whenever you're in the area.

I don't understand the nice reviews about this place.... And I am not so difficult to be pleased!…read more Let's start with the service: we were 5 people we found a table and they brought the menu. Then we waited and waited up to some point we asked if we could order and surprise... we had to order at the till! It would save us some time if they say it when we sat instead of waiting for the waiter to come. Then we went to the till but they said no need to pay now... So what the point to go to the till then? Afterwards when we finish eating It's time to pay... Guess what? We have to go back to the till with the people queuing to order... Another big waist of time and messy organisation. And to continue with the service the waitresses were not really welcoming, everything look like too much to ask and I have ask twice to get some water, I am still waiting for it! Now the food: except the fact that the portion are huge, the food is not good! I was expecting some nice Caribbean (or Jamaican ) food as they pretend to sell! It's nothing close to this! I am used to have Jamaican good in London and being from the Caribbean I still looking for the taste and the spices in the food I have eaten in this place! The chicken has not taste, the rice (which looked like carrot) was just coloured rice, and the banana plantain smashed straight away when you try to put your fork into it! I actually went there because we saw it during the" fete de la musique" so people were dancing in front of the restaurant and I thought to myself: Jamaican food in Paris I have to go! Don't be fooled it was a big mistake! The only good thing I can say about this place is that the location is great and it's cheap... And lucky me it was cheap...I would have been even more upset to have spent more money in this place!!!
