We had a delicious dinner in this little restaurant last week. It's on the quiet side of the Rue Nationale with a few tables out front and more inside. Atmosphere is pretty informal. We speak zero French, but the waitress was as nice as could be and tried hard to explain things to us in her limited English, even managing to crack a few jokes. My husband had a lovely fish dish with a buttery sauce and I had a delicious, perfectly cooked filet mignon d'porc, with a puff pastry shell, whipped sweet potatoes and other veges. To top it off, we had a tasty, soft, warm chocolate cake with rasberry reduction. I also noticed that they had a vegetarian entree and plat selection which is fairly hard to find. Prices were reasonable for Amboise and we would definitely go back. read more
