This has become our go-to taco spot since moving to Manor a few years ago. Service is always friendly and fast, and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of delicious food. My personal favorite are the tripas, which remind me of some of the best tacos I ate growing up in the Rio Grande Valley. For sure feel like this place is worth visiting. Just maybe during non prime time hours? We went maybe around 1p and waited 45+ min for the food. It was a little deceiving that there was no line because there was only one table taken. Later found out we were not the one and only-s (if that's a word) - others were just waiting in their cars. But, when food finally came out, they greatly apologized for the wait. In my book that accounts for a little something right? The other something that can help make up for it is of course.... the food. Steak Burrito Parrillito - for sure would order this again. The burrito was just straight up flour tortilla wrapped around meat of choice. An abundance of meat of choice if you can't tell by my photo. Hey, I mean, you definitely get your money's worth of protein in this dish. Not only quantity - but quality and flavor of the steak was great. The queso smothered on top was perfectly flavorful and might have helped make the dish. Mexican Rice - my husband says I have a particular palate so what other way to say... I'm pretty particular about how i like my mexican rice and this place had it just right. Perfect texture, not too soft or hard, good basic flavor that's flavorful (if that makes any sense). This review is based on one plate, the steak fajita plate. It exceeded my expectations. I didn't expect much because it was a food trailer on 290 near a busy intersection. It is very close to where I work, so I thought I'd give it a try. There are a few parking spaces but very close to the road (290) so be careful. The plate is $14, huge portion, 2 meals for me or can be shared between 2 people. Loved everything about it, super hot and freshly cooked with 3 warm tortillas. OMG Im sitting here devouring my tacos and I can't believe I haven't written a review yet. I have been ordering tacos from here consistently since we moved to Manor and I am never disappointed. When I'm lazy, I just use DoorDash and have them delivered! My favorites are campechana (beef and chorizo) and camaron (shrimp) on corn tortillas and also bean, cheese and bacon (they add a whole strip of bacon to each taco, y'all) on a flour tortilla. The corn tortillas are homemade and so yummy! With the campechana and camaron, I say yes to the cilantro, onion, and lime, and add a bit of both the red/orange salsa and the green salsa. The red/orange one is super hot, so I'm thinking it's habanero, but it's so flavorful. The green one is not as spicy and it's a bit tangy, so I'm thinking it's tomatillo. Anyways! We have two favorite taco trucks in Manor and this is one of them! This one is the best for street tacos, breakfast and the full menu including the seafood burrito! Our other favorite is el bandito who specializes in just birria. But for a traditional authentic Mexican menu, we love la parrillita! There's always a line at breakfast but it moves fast. The owners speak Spanish and English so don't be intimidated if you don't speak Spanish. Everything here has been so good and we've been back three times! read more

They have a dish that I absolutely crave. I don't think I would've ordered it, except that a few years ago at work someone else had it and gave me a try...life changing. I am talking about the fajita rice. This little carry out in Manor has a dish that just plain hits. They take their well-seasoned, fluffy rice; add crisp, seared, caramelized onions and green pepper; your choice of tender, well-seasoned fajita beef, or tender, well-seasoned chicken, or both (I get both...no regrets...but it's like the one place where the chicken is as good as the beef); a dollop of sour cream; a dollop of seasoned, fresh guacamole (harder to find than you'd think!); and then they do the thing that takes it from a solid A to an A+++...they add their "cheese sauce." They don't call it queso, and it doesn't taste exactly like queso. It's...wait for it...even better than queso (gasp). They add this all over the rice. It coats AND penetrates the rice. I take a spoon and create a small mountain bite with a little bit of everything, which is challenging, because it often topples, and you must reassemble. Then I add a little bit of both of their salsas, the red and the green, because both salsas are better than 90% of every other salsa I've ever had. The red is a smoky, spicy liquid. The green is a tangy, fresh tomatillo, and it's the best green I've ever had. I get four greens and three reds for my meal. And after adding these salsas to my heaping spoon I take a bite. And I am taken to heaven for a brief moment. Earthy thoughts are left behind, and I am on the celestial plane. The portion is huge. I never finish it. But I always finish it a few hours later, because I can't bear not to. I came here for lunch on my birthday and ate in my car. It was glorious. Go here. Order the fajita rice. Highly recommended by a friend who also lives in Manor, the family decided to try La Parrillita for breakfast tacos. When I say we weren't disappointed I feel like it's an understatement. I rolled up on this tiny little building where four staff were bustling inside and a line was already formed. We ordered 2 potato and egg tacos, 2 sausage egg and cheese, and a bean and cheese taco. All delicious, everyone was happy and so full by the end of the meal. A true win.
