I am so grateful for Mr. Cake! I recently eloped in Seville as a U.S. bride and was looking for the…read moreperfect place to get a small wedding cake to accommodate six people (us and our parents). They were incredibly helpful in selecting the proper size cake and design, putting me at ease given I was planning from the U.S. Upon arrival, the service was phenomenal; they were extremely kind and informative in terms of transporting and storing the cake. The design was absolutely beautiful, and it tasted delicious (we chose the fresh strawberry)! I simply wish I'd had more time in Seville to visit the shop and try more flavors! For any brides, including brides looking last minute, choose Mr. Cake if you can!!! I had reached out a few months in advance, but for my December elopement it was unnecessary; I don't know their normal turn around time, nor their turn around during peak seasons (so of course check with them), but they asked that I just get them the order a week in advance, and it all turned out perfectly. Thank you Mr. Cake for making my special day EXTRA special!

It was our first day in Sevilla and wanted a sweet treat. We came upon this place online and it had…read moregreat reviews. When we walked in, we noticed that they had lots of flavors, and they were all very unique. The staff was very helpful and patient in explaining all the flavors and the tags for each one had the name and the main ingredients/flavors involved.   I ended up getting the maria cookie one and forgot the name of the other flavor. They were both very creamy, not overly sweet, soft but not to the point of melting, and it was a good portion for the size. The bigger the size of the cup you order, the more flavors you can add. They also do let you sample the flavors which is nice, that way you don't end up with something you aren't pleased with. It appears they also do a good job of introducing different flavors for limited periods of time which keeps you coming back for more. If I lived closer, I would definitely be here often. The only complaint was that they don't have seating inside since it is a small space, and they also don't have tables/chairs outside. There is a playground and lots of dining areas around the corner though, which is where we went to enjoy our gelato.

Mango and Santa Barbara were both also very delicious. Passion fruit was a little too tart for my taste. Payoyo was great, but it's basically the cheese in gelato form, which I need some getting used to Horchata was extremely gross. DO NOT ORDER. Worst horchata of my life

The servers behind the counters are not the most friendly since they are always very busy and very rushed....there are only 3-4 tables, so it's best to eat at the counter or do take-out. Everything you get here is delicious...prices have doubled since pre-pandemic times to now...still a bargain for American standards...check it out...great bakery...

This morning, we visited La Campana to enjoy breakfast and wrap up our last morning in Seville. At…read morefirst, everything seemed fine--we were seated quickly, and the staff appeared polite. However, things took a turn when our server arrived. I asked if they had menus in both Spanish and English since I'm fluent in Spanish, but my boyfriend isn't, and having an English menu helps him. Instead of a simple answer, the waiter chuckled, mumbled something I couldn't understand, and placed a napkin holder with QR codes on the table, saying all menu versions were available online. Unfortunately, all the links led to the Spanish menu. While that alone wouldn't have been a major issue, his dismissive attitude was. After that, he ignored us for over 10 minutes despite my attempts to get his attention, so we eventually left. It was a disappointing way to end our time in Seville, especially considering how many fantastic restaurants in the city offer both great food and service. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
