As a tourist myself, I highly recommend this place. They have an English menu, polite staff, and…read morethe prices are super affordable. It was sunny and there was a light breeze, so we decided to pick the outside seating. It is right next to a street intersection so it was noisy at times, but nevertheless, I love the option to sit outside on a beautiful day. Our server was super nice and spoke English. He was super attentive and consider. For example, when the sun was about to hit part of the table, he moved the water to a shady part so it was kept cool. You don't have to tip so you know the servers genuinely care about the customers. Price wise, it was super affordable. We got the Melba, which was a sweet crepe with strawberry jam, canned peaches, whipped cream, and homemade vanilla ice cream for 7.20 euros. We also got the savory crepe with eggs and tomato (choose your own toppings) for 5.90 euros. My only gripe was that the egg was way undercooked for my taste. Even the egg whites weren't cooked so if you're like me and enjoy a sunny side egg with thoroughly cooked whites, make sure to bring that up.

I cannot explain it all; you just have to go. The food is the main thing when you go out to eat, of course. I started with a kir, but not the Normandy version which I had before and it is nothing more than cassis with some local sparkling cider. I had one of the galettes. Galettes are, I guess you can say, like crepes but brown, so guessing wheat based?! No clue, really. But this one was delicious. It's flat, then filled with cheese, ham, some other interesting stuff and also a fried egg. Loved it! Also, it was quite a size so did fill me up. Might have to find that place again tomorrow!

Better space and ambiance that most of the other restaurants and really, really excellent crepes. First of all the choices were extensive. Much lighter and a much more flavorful crepe itself. Both of our crepes were filled generously as was our dessert crepe. My wife also had a very nice glass of wine and I had a beer. Both cold and flavorful. This is one of those reviews in which I don't have a lot to say because everything was well done. Great location, warm environment, perfect service and excellent food. I guess that is all I can ask for. If in Bayeux and looking for a crepe restaurant, this would be my first choice.

We had some of their alcoholic (about 5%) ciders along with 4 flavors of their crepes (shared family style amongst the 4 of us). The buck wheat crepes were all the same, except with a different sauce - either none, chocolate, caramel, or strawberry. They were warm, tip-top fresh, and delicious. The ciders were aerated, and a little tangy, and ok, but I'm not sure I would personally go out of my way for them. The space was historic and tight but also full of local flavor the way we would have wanted it to be.
