Have just returned from an apalling experience in this restaurant. Only four of us in there but the chef managed to not only ruin our food but also made us feel like it was our fault!
Firstly the soup, very nice, but it had some paper in it, which he said was the edge of some cheese or something. Then the main course Paella, with a cooked and very dead fly in it!. Chef's response was along the lines of 'I can't help it, there are flies all over the place, its nature!' The Fly Paella (Flyella) was served on two plates and he tried to make out he had cooked both separately! so we would eat one of them. Does he think I was born yesterday? Can't say I have ever felt so uncomfortable or insulted in a restaurant. Add to this dirty wine glasses and plates and it wont be one I'll visit again. Judging by the other comments and the number of people in on a Saturday afternoon,(zero) he should be making more of an effort to impress. I didnt make enough fuss when I was in there, so writing this makes me feel a whole lot better. read more
