Terrible customer service. Waited for over 15 minutes and they don't even acknowledge your presence. This is the second and last time I ever go. We call and place our order according to the menu on their website. #Googled La Noche North Plainfield and their website popped up with location and phone number. When I arrived to pick up my order I realized that I was over charged by almost 25% I asked to speak to who ever was in charge. Some fat guy with a receding hairline was extremely rude and told me that I was looking at the menu from another location. I'm not sure how long this place has been open but I saw some of the other reviews before coming here and they didn't seem too good. I'm glad I decided to ignore them and went with my gut. In this particular area of North Plainfield there are plenty of good Spanish eats. Today I went with my family and our good friends and we were all very satisfied with our meals. The serving sizes are very generous and we each took a doggie bag home . The flavors were on point with a lot of the other Columbian. Places I have tried . Overall the food is not bad. from the special of the day to ordering off the menu. There's a wide variety of food at an affordable price. A year ago this place would have gotten five stars from me they had very nice staff including the manager. During the past 6 months things have gone downhill fairly quickly, all new waitresses who are constantly sitting on the bar while using their cell phones or going to the restroom to talk on the phone. If I could give a -1 in the review I would give it, food is horrible, service is awful, waitress kept forgetting our order, they took forever to bring first half of my spouse's order, I had to wait another 15 minutes until they brought the "arroz con Pollo " I ordered which was horrible, and then another 15 minutes until they brought the rest of my spouse's order. The food here is OK. I got a bandeja paisa which is large enough for two. The meat was a little dry, but I way hungry so ... I also go a fruit salad which was horrible. They gave me fruit that tasted frozen. They didn't even give me mango , watermelon etc. All I got was: a banana and two pieces of green apples and cantaloupe. It's whatever tho. read more

Came here for a Saturday morning lunch. We wanted a Colombian breakfast and thought a bakery nearby sold that. Sadly it didn't. So we decided to try this place. The food and service was great. Very very disappointing. We ordered to take out. Got home staving to food being very bland. We order steak with sautéed onions we get home no onions. Beans were horrible. Orders pollo Salteado chicken was in this orange sauce like tomato paste just bad. Everything is separate you want rice separate you want beans separate. I thought we at least got salad... Nope.. Tried for the first time today. I usually eat from Tropical just down the street but wanted to give this place a try. I got a paisita and 4 empanadas de res to go. The portion on the paisita was generous and the empanadas had flavor which was enhanced with the picante sauce. Good food, would go back again. From time to time I stop in the morning for a coffee and a breakfast bread/pastry.. always good service and very flavorful .. tonight for the first time I sat for dinner.. what a find!!. I had grilled chicken breast.. they call it pechuga.. with salad..avocado and some great potatoes.. service was fast/ efficient and friendly . Dinner was very flavorful and tender .. I'm definitely coming back.. there is a parking lot across from the police station half block away so parking is easy.. area is very safe..
