Bad service -actually yelled and talked down to me in another language. Refused to give me a receipt. Pretended to not speak English. Told me to use my card if I wanted a receipt in her broken English. Asking other customers what was a receipt. When I informed her it's illegal to deny me a receipt and I was calling the police, all of a sudden she spoke English and had a receipt book! what a liar! read more

After my sister and I had gone to four different nail salons, we FINALLY found the one! Diana did such a phenomenal job with our pedicures. We chose the "LA Recommended" treatment, which included the regular pedi with polish, a scented scrub, massage, soothing moisturizer, nail trim/buff, callous removal AND paraffin wax treatment for only $40! A straightforward pedi was only $25, but we decided to get extra to try it out and were so glad we did. No one has ever paid so much attention to detail or spent so much time making sure I liked the result. I couldn't speak more highly of the staff, cleanliness, and above all, courteousness with which we were met there. They are the kindest people and were a delight to be around. Please go see them. Walked into Mayberry mall today and signed in to get nails done. There was a guy sitting there doing nails. He asked a question as to what we wanted. I said full set and proceeded to sign in. He then looks over and asks "can we come back next Tuesday." Now if there isn't someone there that knows how to do certain things then perhaps they should have a sign that says so. Is it because it's only meant for certain individuals, then go ahead and put up a sign that says so. I'm about done with these mail salons. I've been to quite a few mail salons in Mt. Airy NC that had been less than stellar in their treatment of specific individuals. Perhaps it's time to start traveling the hour or more to get them done. Even more so, is it even worth it? Me and my two friends went to get fill ins and pedicures. First, when we walked in there was one person working and she had one customer. She didn't even speak to us until we had been sitting there for almost 10 minutes. When all sat down for our pedicures and finally 2 other workers came in. We then sat down for our nails after they spent 2 hours doing our pedicures. They started shaving off the original color and it was very painful. They also left several cuts when they were filing and shaping our nails. In the end, the results were not what we hoped for at all. They were rude and said that our skin was "too thin." They guilted us into paying for an up charge for gel polish on our toes. Highly do NOT recommend! read more

My daughter called at 4:30 to get an appointment for 7:00 p.m. on a Wednesday night and was told that would be fine. We arrived at 6:50. I dropped her off, and she walked in and signed in at 6:55. Another lady came in just after my daughter and signed in also at 6:55. There was already a lady and her two daughters there. One of the daughters was getting finished. While waiting, I ran my car through the car wash a mile down the road. I was back in the parking lot by 7:06. I messaged my daughter and she said she was still working on one of the lady's daughters and she was next. However, when that daughter was finished, the mom said, "My other daughter wanted to get her just polished.", so the salon owner did the second daughter. At 7:43, another lady came in and jumped in the chair in front of my daughter and the other lady that came in behind my daughter. The nail salon owner then told my daughter that she was going to do the other lady first because she called at 3. The lady that came in after my daughter said, "This is ridiculous" and left. My daughter texted me and told me that she was bumped in line so I went in to discuss this with the owner. The owner then asked my daughter after 45 minutes of waiting to come back the next day. If she wanted to wait until the next day, we wouldn't have called to make an appointment to come that night. I asked why she was being bumped. The owner didn't say anything. The lady with the three daughters wanted to argue with me about my daughter being late for her appointment. I don't know why this nosey "Karen" thought she had the right to even weigh in with her opinion on the matter since 1. it's not her salon. and 2. she had no clue what time my daughter's appointment was. She wanted to tell me how she had been there since 4 and the other lady that jumped in line was there three times. NONE of that made any sense. Here is what makes sense. you set an appointment, you keep the appointment. If you overbook, you tell that person as soon as they walk in, you are sorry, you are overbooked. You don't keep them and another person waiting 45 minutes to put someone else in front of them. Don't waste your time at this salon. The nail work is mediocre at best. The only reason my daughter called was that she was in a pinch to get her nails done before an event on Friday and is tied up the entire day on Thursday. She called several places and they were the first ones that said they could get her in. read more

Was disappointed. I had gone twice and was OK.. Last 2 visits were not good. Did not do a complete pedicure. Both visits the 2 different Manicurist did not do a complete pedicure.. Did not do cuticles or dead skin. Another manicurist was upset with a customer because basically she could not understand what the customer wanted. She was very irate with the customer. Very loud.. Customer was trying to grow her nails out under the fake nails and the manicurist cut them off, But only cut them off on one hand and that is when the problem started. I do not recommend going to this salon. I went in to get SNS and they said they knew how to do it but the next day the polish was coming off. If you have ever had SNS you know it stays on for a month until you get it taken off. Do not waste your money going here. read more
